The Avania is convenient and decent value, but the WiFi was too slow to work.
Pros:

Location, sufficient parking. The decor was cute and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The WiFi was terrible and didn’t work. Maybe if you’re in the main building you get reception, but if you’re on an outer wing it was disfunctionally slow. The TV was also very slow. Maybe the remote needed new batteries. The carpet was frayed and had a musty odor.

Pros:

I loved the location. I was in a ADA room and it was perfect. The saff was so helpful. When the coffee machine went out they had purchased coffee and things went smoothly.

Lovely Staff Clean Room
Pros:

We had a lovely stay during our road trip. It’s in walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. The establishment is well maintained, clean and quiet. Most importantly, every single staff I interacted with was cordial and lovely which made a world of a difference.

It's clean, new and comfortable.

Cons:

The window doesn't have a bug screen. The point is, it's impossible for you to get a bit of fresh air without letting bugs inside. The AC they installed doesn't have fresh air ventilation.

Great place, great service
Pros:

Perfect place for me and my family to stay on our trip to Santa Barbara. It’s close to the pier, clean, and the service was great. They had everything we needed in the rooms and offer a light breakfast and beverages. It’s was affordable and a great inn.

Pros:

The hotel is a wonderful facility with everything one would wish for.
The room was beautiful, clean and spacious.
The front desk staff, especially Glory, was most helpful and welcoming.

Great hotel
Pros:

Had a lovely stay at the Avania Inn. Elizabeth was wonderful, 10/10 service. The rooms were lovely and breakfast was a nice addition too! I'd recommend as its a short walk to the beach and local amenities.

One night only
Pros:

Front desk manager Gloria greeted us with a smile a was very informative to the questions we asked of her. Had a problem with one of our phones and here comes Gloria to the rescue. PLEASE, give this woman a raise!! Besides the superb customer service, the room was clean and comfortable. Thanks Gloria for all your help.

Great Santa Barbara Find.
Pros:

The Avania Inn is an excellent hotel situated a short walk from the Santa Barbara Marina. The rooms are large, modern and quiet with really comfortable beds. There's the bonus of a free buffet style breakfast. There's ample free parking and all the staff are welcoming and happy to help.
