Pros:

Der Hotelbetrieb ist im Gästehaus der Salzgitter AG integriert. Dies ist kein Defizit - im Gegenteil. Die Rahmenbedingungen haben ein hohes und professionelles Niveau. Das Gebäude ist bereits älter, aber sehr gut gepflegt und der Sanitärbereich frisch renoviert.
Eine ausreichende Anzahl Parkplätze sind direkt am Haus verfügbar.
Das Frühstück bietet die übliche "Internationale Auswahl" in hoher Produktqualität.
Das täglich geöffnete Restaurant bietet kreative und bodenständige Gerichte in gehobener Qualität (und berechtigterweise auch zu endsprechenden Preisen).

Cons:

Der Hotelname "Hotel am See" mag stimmen. Der See ist naheliegend, aber es gibt keinen unmittelbaren Zugang zum See, falls man abends noch eine Runde laufen möchte.
Das gebuchte Zimmer bot weder Minibar noch einen Wasserkocher, o.ä.
