The breakfast was very good. The breakfast host was friendly and helpful. The hotel host when we arrived was excellent. The shuttle driver was very friendly. The bed was excellent. Great roomy bathroom with walk-in shower. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable.
The pillows were pretty sad. The room needed another chair. There was only one. If a couple wanted to sit and share take-out or coffee in the morning, you would have to move the small table up to the bed to be able to sit across from each other. Almost a quarter of the room was vacant (empty) space. A small sofa, a straight- back chair, a recliner... something is needed to fill the space and make he room more cozy.
It was a nice hotel and the staff was super friendly
Breakfast was simple, and the location was good.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. When I went to switch my room, I was greeted with a smile and the switch was easily made. I also ran into some maintenance staff while in the elevator and the lobby and they were equally as friendly.
The facility was unclean. The hallways were dirty and the building was in dire need of repairs from the inside out. The first room I was given smelled of cigarettes although it was a non-smoking room. It seemed very dirty and I asked to be moved to another room. The second room was better, but still did not meet my expectations. The breakfast was cold in the morning outside of the waffles which I made myself.
It was all right, even though I know you were under construction.
In my room, there was a fish station of flies and necks constantly. I kill a couple of roaches, but it was mostly devastation of the flies or nets which ever one.
The location
We didn't eat breakfast there as we had been eating hotel breakfasts for a week and wanted something different.
The location near the airport is excellent.
We had told the front desk employee when we had stayed there the week before that we would be leaving my car there and would like to ride their shuttle to and from the airport and that our return flight would be arriving about 9 PM on the 16th. They said "No problem. Just call us when you are ready and we will be there in a few minutes". Getting to the airport was no problem. However, when we returned, they told me it would be 2 hours before anyone would be able to pick us up. That left two 80+ year old ladies to fend for themselves in an almost empty airport. That is totally unacceptable! The reason we stayed there was to use the shuttle. Fortunately, a kind driver from the Hilton took pity on us and took us to the Hampton. When we checked in, the clerk just said "Sorry. The driver had called off." When we got to the room, the first thing we saw was a 3 inch hole in the entry tile and worn, frayed carpet where it joined the tile. One would think the Hampton would have better standards. The room itself was clean.
I complained about the water being brown at the sink and shower and I would not take a shower. Another guest also complained and the front desk refused to give a discount or apply points to our accounts.
Avoid this hotel until their renovations are complete. We were warned that they were under renovation so we expected some noise and that was understandable but this hotel is in disrepair. The rooms are in bad condition and the cleanliness standard is not good. We do appreciate the front desk staff. They are very nice.
No air conditioning in halls and most of the building under construction
Staff was friendly.
Turning on TV was difficult. Very Old.
Breakfast had no Yogurt options… could not eat anything offered due to Gluten Allergy. Only choice was an apple.
It was OK
We stayed at the Hampton so I could leave my car there and take their shuttle to and from the airport. When we checked in I told the desk clerk that we would need the shuttle in the morning and the following Tuesday night about 9 PM to return to the hotel and that we were staying again that night. She said no problem just call when we were ready and they would be there in a few minutes. Getting to the airport was fine. However, when we returned at 9 PM and called for the shuttle, I was told they wouldn't have anyone to drive the shuttle until 11 PM and for me to call an uber. That was leaving two 80+ year old ladies to fend for them selves in an almost empty airport. That is totally unacceptable! There happened to be a shuttle from the Hilton picking up people and I asked him if he would be so kind to drop us off at the Hampton. Which he did. When we got there the night clerk just said "sorry".
The first night we stayed there, the room was very nice. But on the second night (after not being picked up at the airport) the room was clean but there was a 3' hole in the ceramic tile as you first enter the room. And the carpet was badly frayed on the edge where it joined the ceramic tile. One would think that the Hampton would have higher standards than that. I wish I had taken pictures of the hole and carpet edge.
Wonderful Stay – A Breath of Fresh Air
After leaving another hotel due to terrible conditions, staying at the Hampton Inn was exactly what my family needed. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well-kept. The rooms were spotless, the beds were cozy, and everything felt fresh. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, welcoming, and professional, which made a huge difference after the experience we had just come from. We felt at ease right away and finally got to enjoy our trip. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn!
