Great Stay in Lucerne
Pros:

Great location, comfortable rooms, & outstanding staff. A shout out to Rahim, who helped us retrieve a phone we had lost at the airport. Thanks for your commitment to guests!

Cons:

It gets a little noisy on the street outside when the bar closes, but the hotel has no control over that!

Bel hôtel pour visiter une très belle ville.
Pros:

J’y étais allée la semaine d’avant (ch.214). Cette fois chambre 407. Très belle architecture. Emplacement idéal pour le KKL et la gare. Nous donne un pass pour les transports publics. Très bon restaurant. Personnel aimable. Bon petit-déjeuner. N’y suis restée qu’une nuit. J’ai préféré la chambre 214 car il y avait un canapé. Chaînes françaises.

Cons:

Ventilateur bruyant dans la chambre. Emplacement idéal mais…bruyant.

Great location. Nice hotel with helpful staff.
Pros:

Location is fantastic. Very close to the station and easily accessible with kids and big bags. Shops and places to eat are all super close by.

Ich habe mich nicht eine Sekunde als Gast gefühlt
Pros:

Fortsetzung von NEGATIV-ERFAHUNG (mehr Text kann ich unten nicht eingeben): Das Personal im ganzen Hotel hat keinen Blick für die Belange der Gäste.
Auch alles Übrige entspricht kaum einem Standard. Oft endlose Warterei am Lift, Küchengestank im Flur, fehlende Beschriftung/Information im Zimmer, extrem ungemütliche Suite. Wegen fehlender Klimatisierung sollen die Gäste bereits morgens die Rollos an den Fenstern dicht schließen, um dann bei Dunkelheit oder Kunstlicht in der Suite zu sitzen.
Das war kein schöner Aufenthalt und keine Erholung.

Cons:

Die Suite hatte den Charme einer Bushaltestelle. Helle Decken-Lampe. Vier Steckdosen im Hauptzimmer. Zwei funktionierten nicht. Wir mussten unter dem Tisch herumkriechen und Stecker umstecken, um abwechselnd Kaffeemaschine / Ventilator / Lampe zu betreiben.
Klimaanlage tut nicht. Später im Lift Hinweis, dass die Klimaanlagen wegen Denkmalschutz nicht funktionieren. Warum steht das nicht am Bedienteil im Zimmer?
Instandsetzungsarbeiten im Zimmer unfertig. Schraubenlöcher, Gipserarbeiten mit falscher Farbe überpinselt, usw.
Kriterien Handtuchwechsel unklar, Kaffeezubehör stets unvollständig aufgefüllt, Kaffeekapseln unbeschriftet, keine Milch oder Kaffeeweißer.
Täglich ab 22 Uhr Fenster auf, um Hitze von bis 28° rauszulassen. Jede Nacht ca 4 Uhr laut schreiende Möwen im Innenhof. Ab 6 Uhr erste Lieferanten – bemüht leise – scheppernd im Innenhof. Ab 6 Uhr zieht täglich vom Flur aus intensiver Küchengeruch ins Zimmer. 4 Nächte kaum geschlafen.
Am Frühstücksbuffet steht das Personal den Gästen meistens im Weg. Auffüllen am Buffet dauert oft lang, manches kommt gar nicht. Ein einfaches Frühstücksei gibt es – auch auf Nachfragen – nicht (außer hartgekocht). Eine einzige ältere Mitarbeiterin macht ihre Arbeit überaus gästeorientiert. Die einzige, die es im Griff hat.
Bad: großer länglicher Raum ohne jede Ablagefläche, obwohl viel Platz wäre. Dusche Wassertemperatur schwankt oft schlagartig zwischen 24° und 41°. Auch in der Dusche keine Ablagemöglichkeit. An der Wand fest ein hoteleigenes Universalduschgel. Eigene Flaschen mussten wir auf den Boden der Dusche stellen.
Keine Klimaanlage, auch kein Kühlschrank. In einem Billig-Hotel findet man dann wenigstens auf jedem Stockwerk eine Eiswürfelmaschine.
War vor Jahren schon mal hier. Damals Personal sehr aufmerksam und um den Gast bemüht, die Zimmer ordentlich. Das Frühstück und das Drumherum war damals eines der besten was ich in Luzern fand. Jetzt statt Service ein Selbstbedienungs-Kaffeeautomat, der häufig ausfiel.

Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Large room. staff was helpful.

Cons:

No a/c so you need to open windows and run the fan in hot weather like we experienced. Be sure to ask for room on side away from train station as it was very noisy until about 3 am every night.

Pros:

Perfect location since we travelled by train! The room was very spacious, comfortable, and pleasant. As the hotel clearly states, there is no air conditioning. One of the nights was particularly hot, which made it rather uncomfortable, but otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay.

We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised — the food was excellent and we really enjoyed the experience.

A special thank you to Nadim Rahimi, the Front Office Supervisor, who was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. He took great care of us and made our experience even better. We truly appreciated his kindness and assistance!

Pleasant stay.
Pros:

The hotel was well-located across from the train station, which made it very easy for travel. We kindly had a room upgrade which we appreciated. Switzerland generally is very expensive (for Australians) so the room was good, with everything you need, and daily room service, however no air conditioning did mean the room was very hot during our stay. Breakfast was good, everything you want for a hotel breakfast. Staff were very accommodating.
