Excellent hotel choice!!
Pros:

Location was fantastic. 1 minute from lucerne train station. close to everything, lots of eatereries to choose from.

Pros:

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were a group of six and we enjoyed the breakfast. Hard to beat the convenience to trains, restaurants and sights. Overall we were pleasantly surprised now much we enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient location for accessing the train station. Be aware of hot and cold water temperature control.
Pros:

Great spot if you are doing day trips out of Lucerne with the train station right across the street.

Cons:

We were in room 405 and the water temperature when showering or bathing fluctuated wildly between full hot and full cold without touching the water cold / hot mixture. We mentioned it to the staff and they said they would have someone look into it. Of course the problem remained and we are convinced the hotel is well aware of the issue.

Pros:

location is very central but on the weekend nightclubs on neighbouring streets create some noise (opening a window at night is not an option but one does not hear a lot if windows are closed).

Cons:

Only one lift, so some waiting time in "peak hours"
