TVのチャンネル数がすくなすぎた
Pros:

到着後チェックインするまでにお部屋に入れて頂いた
親切丁寧なスタッフでした。

Cons:

古い建物で内装の見た目が古く感じテレビも現在のチャンネル数が少なく情報が分からなかった。

Good, convenient hotel
Pros:

Good, convenient hotel close to the station and close to the old town. We had a really spacious corner room overlooking Kurashiki. Breakfast was good.

A wonderful hotel in downtown Kurashiki
Pros:

Our room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. We were able to open windows for fresh air and the bathroom facilities were excellent (the shower in particular). Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is a short walk away from the Bikan historical quarter. There are plenty of great restaurants in the side streets around the hotel - we recommend Soba Trattoria Takenoya for delicious dinners. Also worth a look is the nearby art gallery LAGARTO Plus, featuring the work of artist Ryuzo Kawano. A very enjoyable stay in Kurashiki!

Cons:

The TV in our room was old and therefore we couldn't stream from our phone apps - no Netflix or anything else, just standard Japanese-language channels. Time to upgrade to smart TVs!

La grandeur de la chambre, l'aménagement. Charme des vieux hôtels, petit déjeuner varié, emplacement près des musées et vieille ville.

It served its purpose being close to station and old town
Pros:

Breakfast was okay - nothing special. The location was great. Ten minutes walk from the station and five minutes from the old town which was stunning. Room size was ok - and clean. The hotel itself is a bit dated.

Cons:

It was just a little underwhelming.

Best hotel so far on our tour of Japan
Pros:

A great hotel for the price. It’s worth paying a little more to get a huge corner room. Excellent buffet breakfast and great location on the edge of the historic district. Also bike friendly- we were allowed to keep our bikes in our room.
