Very nice hotel bilding; old days architecture.
They don’t know what tourism is about; I stayed one night and payed breakfast for a 5*hotel; they offered to choose bettween a plate of fryied eggs and a plate with sliced cheese/salami, 2 pralines and a cup coffee, 😁
close to the the old town, the staff was very helpful and the hotel was quiet.
No A/C, we were a group of 40 people and none of us had A/C in their room. Even though air was coming out of the vent, it was warm air. Some rooms were able to get a fan but the majority of us didn't. If you get a room with a window that leads to the exterior you are in luck as you can cool down the room at night but if you are unlucky and get a room with a window in the interior "yard" there is absolutely no air movement and you feel like in an oven, specially on the 3rd floor. Some colleagues got bitten by bedbugs but this can happen anywhere.

Die Qualität des Zimmers war schlecht - Steckdosen fallen auseinander bzw. sind unbrauchbar, Zimmertresor hat nicht funktioniert, Duschtür schliesst nicht richtig, Klimaanlage ist alt, laut und kühlt nur rudimentär
Hotelul Capșa este o adevărată instituție și merită vizitat măcar pentru a savura ceva din istoria culturală importantă a Bucureștilor. Situat în inima capitalei României, el este foarte aproape de numeroase instituții de cultură (Teatrul Național, Ateneul Român, Biblioteca Academiei, Universitatea din București). De asemenea, el este aproape de câteva artere importante ale Bucureștilor, fiind și un loc extrem de accesibil cu metroul sau numeroase mijloace de transport de suprafață. Prețul este accesibil și echilibrat în raport cu aspectele menționate.

Ultra central, extremely quiet, 5 stars, classic location and a great romanian breakfast, with in-house sweets.

Oude grandeur en ligging
Hotel Casa Capsa – Boekarest ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Prachtig hotel in Jugendstil, met oude kroonluchters, versleten vloerbedekking en een flinke dosis vergane glorie. Maar eerlijk is eerlijk: dát was ook een beetje waarvoor we kwamen. 😉
De ontvangst was helaas niet bepaald warm. Na het douchen bleef het water de hele nacht over de badkamervloer stromen. En op weg naar het ontbijt struikelden we bijna over een kakkerlak. Bij de receptie: één keer “sorry” en één keer schouderophalen… 🤷♀️
Het ontbijt was wisselend: droge cake, oude granola en lauwe eieren. De croissants waren gelukkig prima!
De kamer was heerlijk stil, maar de airco maakte genoeg herrie voor twee.
Kortom: veel sfeer en historie, maar voor deze prijs (€275,- voor 2 nachten) verwachten we toch iets meer van 3 sterren. Een heel mager 6je, voor een vleugje nostalgie en een flinke knipoog.
Poziționarea locației, atmosfera care te întoarce în perioada istorică, staff-ul. Am fost cazată mult mai devreme decât ora de efectuare a check-in-ului. Foarte curat.

Historisch hotel in het hartje van Boekarest. Perfecte ligging om het centrum van Biekarest te bezoeken. Indrukwekkend intérieur dat een 19e eeuwse sfeer uitademt.
Het personeel is niet altijd even vriendelijk. De eenpersoonskamers zijn klein en niet echt comfortabel.
Locatia excelenta, perosnalul foarte amabil, camerele spatioase si linistite desi se afla chiar in centrul orasului.
Singurul minus ca nu am avut internet.
