“Waterpark” doesn’t make up for the poor hotel conditions
Pros:

The restaurant was good, the kids enjoyed the waterpark, and it was nice having the lake outside and the seating area next to the lake to relax

Cons:

Overpriced for what you get. The queen beds were way too soft, and one of the bunk beds had no planks across the middle and was unusable, I checked back every couple hours but they were unable to move us nor fix the bed. The ac unit in the bunk room was leaking water all over the floor, so the carpet was soaked. The breakfast was not good either, not many options and what they had didn’t taste good.

Would definitely stay again when back in the area, but will book directly with hotel. Booking.com was a nightmare.
Pros:

Front desk staff went above and beyond to secure us a second room after booking.com cancelled last minute due to their error. The location was superb, the dock, swim up rafts and paddles boards were great fun. Kids enjoyed the mini waterpark too.

Cons:

Rooms are a bit outdated (jacuzzi in room?) but bedding was new and beds comfy.

Cons:

The shower rod was loose there was a piece of tape holding the cap for the shower pipe the door closer was not connected. The paint was peeling on the walls.

For the money paid per room night, one would expect better service and attention.
Cons:

poor continental brkfst selection. Most offerings gone by 8am. The front desk person doing check-outs on Sunday was also responsible for the kitchen area. Couldn't get a fresh set of towels after the first two nights even though requested, had to come down to desk. Locked out of room had to get new keys burned to get back into room.

Overall the stay was pleasant and allowed us to bring our 2 small dogs.

Disappointed
Pros:

The location was beautiful. Room was comfortable with a nice view. Check in was easy.

Cons:

The pool and spa were disgusting. Fish flies were floating in both and all staff ignored them and never skimmed the pool. There was also sand all over the bottom of the pool. The attached restaurant messed up 2 of our 3 orders and service was slow. There was a group who took over the beach area and proceeded to make rape jokes as well as racist jokes. It was an embarrassment. This hotel has the potential to be very nice but staff and ownership clearly have their work cut out for them.

Pros:

Front desk staff was extremely sweet and nice

Cons:

The pool and hot tube were nasty hair and chunks of debris all over another person grabbed the skimmer and started cleaning they now have a pool boy and he wasn't anywhere to find then watched the lady clean

Nice lake resort
Pros:

The food was excellent. Live entertainment was pretty good. The water park was very nice. Bed was comfortable

Over priced accommodations.
Pros:

The location was beautiful and the front desk woman was wonderful at checkin. The linens were soft and smelled great.

Cons:

The bedroom furniture was old, soft and uncomfortable. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Only one fresh options available for fruit and they were apples that were past their prime. Hard boiled eggs were not good and no other protein available. No pool towels in the pool area.
