I really wanted that hot tub...
Pros:

Beautiful looking hotel and rooms. Loved the view and my room was extremely clean and lovely. The decor is great as is the ambience. Bed was awesome. The Club Lounge serves a GREAT breakfast and happy hour was a lot of fun.

Cons:

I was upgraded to a Junior suite from Premium King Corner without being asked and which while awesome in theory, did seem like it was a bit of a downgrade, as I had paid for a room on a higher floor and that room had a hot tub, which was the main reason I booked in the first place. On arrival the tv didnt work. The room service was incredibly slow, waited 45 minutes for ice bucket and it came melted and hot food came cold. Options are very limited and overpriced. Also advertises 24 hrs and it shut at 10 pm. The workers themselves all seemed bored or waved us off a lot. Except for the one amazing young man who served us in The Club Lounge during happy hour (give the boy a raise) the service was kind of mediocre and way too slow.

Pros:

Staff friendly and accommodating.
The room was superb.
The food was lovely and served in good time.
The inside restaurant was good.

Cons:

Outside dining area does look a little tired. Seating area cushions were a tad grubby.

Gorgeous rooms but eat & drink elsewhere
Pros:

The rooms were fantastic and the team on reception were lovely.

Cons:

The lifts were very slow
The bar area was chaotic and the staff were very rude - worst hotel bar we have ever visited.

Pros:

Most things we liked. Very comfortable. Great location.

Cons:

TV Remote didn’t work, staff at check in could have cracked a smile. Know in shower to transfer from hand held to ceiling top shower was broken

Nice and clean but worst view ever
Pros:

We found the hotel itself fantastic and very clean the city view turned out to be a white brick wall

Cons:

We thought we had paid for an upgraded room to find our view was a while brick wall, was disappointed, the staff were not friendly and the we found the food not very good and overpriced

Excellent - but noisy at night
Pros:

Staff were great, rooftop dining room excellent, room facilities very nice, great views.

Cons:

It is in a noisy area and unfortunately even on a high floor the late night music (although muffled) and early morning sirens kept us awake.

Modern room and comfortable bed but towels and shower are poor
Pros:

The club on 12 fl is good for afternoon snack and drinks. The room is modern and comfortable bed

Cons:

The showers has no screen and the floor will be totally wet after shower. The towels were very old and gray. The quality of the towels is not acceptable for 5 stars hotels

Pros:

Staff were incredibly welcoming, brilliant location and lovely outdoor area for early evening drinks. The room itself had everything we needed and was immaculate. The bed was very comfy.

Cons:

Unfortunately the night club right next door kept us awake until 3am both nights. We appreciate being in the city centre there will be a bit of noise but this was exceptionally loud
