Good
Night reception was asleep and very rude. He did not say anything to me as I checked in and he was very upset. I think I woke him up after ringing the bell for over 10inutes. Bad
I typically eat fruit and yogurt for breakfast so I missed having it on the breakfast menu.
Breakfast menu
Nothing at all
This place is a trash holw with absolute trash of worker tried to scam us after we paid on line with booking . Would not let us stay less we canceled and paid them direct for the room said booking takes to long to pay them this was after waiting 40 minutes of them lying after we showed them confirmation. I suggest the place change hands it use to be a good hotel years ago
Nothing
The property was so nasty and stank that we left and booked another place to stay for the night. There was a huge crack in the tub and a hole they had patched. If we could give it a zero or negative stars we would have.
I absolutely love this place!
No complaints
Friendly Staff.
Flies in room.
The staff is super friendly. We stayed for two days and couldn’t ask for a better stay. The electricity went out from a storm and was out for several hours(which was understandable and out of their hands)but that did not mess our stay up at all. We always use this hotel and will continue. If your ever in Grayville,Illinois let Super 8 be your stay! The beds are amazing and the staff is always friendly and smiling. It’s an amazing environment. Small town hospitality is where it’s at.
I have no complaints what so ever. I will always stay here.
The staff was helpful, friendly, and courteous.
The laundry soap machine and one of the dryers in the guest laundry was out of order.
No regular coffee at 630 am. Awaiting mail shipment for more. Why not buy some at store if out so early? Only warm food was biscuits and gravy..totally unappealing to an easterner.
Liked free parking.
Was asked to change rooms 3 times
Refused the last time so had room without a working key...lock battery needed replacement. Not sure why it was never done.
Only one check in clerk and besides being slow he kept reassigning everyone then was confused why personal things would already be in room he just gave you and that guest"s key no longer worked. It was because he didn't keep track of any new room assignments from his changes
Wasted hours when tired with dogs on a hot day after a long ride and never got things fixed. We just have up and didn't even leave room to buy dinner as we had no key.
Worst experience in a hotel ever;
Front staff was friendly and apologetic and accommodating.
Arrived with a reservation and when we got to the room it was dirty and had not been cleaned. Dirty laundry on the floor and trash in the trashcan still. Front desk guy was apologetic and gave us a different room. This room was clean however we paid for a king and was given a double bed room. The door key did not work on that room. After letting the front desk guy know again he then gave us a handicapped king room but said that it didn't have a key and that he would have to let us in with an actual key.
Over all the front desk employees are friendly but the housekeeping is definitely lacking.
Location and price
My room was invested with small red ants
The location was convenient being just off the interstate and a state highway.
The smell of the air freshener was terrible. I ended up buying an air spray to try to cover it.
I stay here quite alot thru the year it was lovely as always
This was convenient to the freeway. On and off, gas nearby.
The only King beds were on the third floor, ok I accept that. The young man that checked us in had extremely bad body odor. I could smell him from 2 feet away. He was polite but smelly. When we got to our room, there were 2 plastic forks on the floor under bed/night stand. The tub was cracked and peeling, everything looked old, old, old from the 80’s. Bed was hard. This did not meet my expectations for a Wyndham hotel, even though it was a less expensive option.
Nice and quiet location.
The beds were comfortable.
The hotel has a real musty smell.
It was as a place to stay
It smells old
