This used to be the place to stay when you went to Lake Gunnersville things have surely changed. Facility is under renov
Pros:

Rooms were clean and housekeeping was very nice

Cons:

Elevator was broken had to walk three flights of stairs. Guest were allowed after 10:30 at night and smoking weed in the parking lot. There was no security on premises.

Hot breakfast

Cons:

Was on 3rd floor facing highway traffic, was loud until midnight on a week night, kept hearing the ice machine located outside close to the room most of the night, elevators were not working, bed & pillows not comfortable, glad I only stayed one night since getting three or four hours of sleep

We needed a good place to stop for the night and this was a very good choice. We were comfortable.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. (I’ll never be a fan of fake eggs, but there were some other proteins to choose from.) The view from the front of the hotel at night was spectacular at this time of year. The lake is decked out with many Christmas lights.

Cons:

The bathroom fixtures are noticeably aging, but everything was very clean. The lights from the rear parking area are extremely bright at night and it would be nice if the curtains were slightly oversized to block out the edges of the window more thoroughly. None of these criticisms are a deal breaker. I would return here.

didnt end up staying there

Cons:

the fact they gave our room away. I arrived with a family of five for a baseball tournament. I was supposed to check in Wednesday night but did not make it, because I broke my toe. So, we showed up Thursday about 12 noon to found out they cancel my whole booking. This was unheard of.
We luckily found a room elsewhere to accommodate us. My grandchildren were fearful we were going to have to sleep in the car.
