Ideal location to see all attractions by walking, close to transport and few great restaurants

The location, rooms cleaned nicely.

Cons:

Need to update many parts of the buildings. Bathrooms and plumbing. Electric sockets- one socket in the room not good.

Well located within reasonable walking distance of the historic center of Rome.
Pros:

Spacious room was a surprise. Apparently we were upgraded. Dining room table, separate living room, couches, chairs. The breakfasts were very nicely done.

Cons:

The hotel was built in 1860, which is charming, but the walking spaces were kind of hacked up, with two or three steps up, then a few steps later, a same number down. But after being amused for a while, we pretty much got used to it.
