The location was great along with the parking deck. The staff was super friendly. Nice selection for breakfast.
Older so needs updating. Also the comforters need to be replaced. They are balled up and hard inside.
Proximity, location
Leaking sink, bath tub faucet, running toilet, poor lighting in the room, pool heat was not on, ice machine broken, unfriendly staff at the coffee bar
Water pressure six floor was little weak. Shower door was off the trac.
The breakfast was excellent. We arrived at the opening and was pleased with the offerings and custom omelette from polite and professional staff.
Great location!
Rooms were a little dated
Right in the center of town where I grew up family it was very close to hotel
There was nothing that was really disheartening that we did like didn’t like
Katie, Angie, and Carl were personable, professional and friendly. Great service and food.
Breakfast is very good and the staff is great. They even got me gluten free bread when i asked. I love Angela.
Excellent service! Especially breakfast. Angie provided a very friendly atmosphere and remembered me even after months addressing me by Mr George. Very sweet and very respectful. By far the best Hilton employee I’ve ever had interactions with. And I stay weekly at Hiltons 3 weeks a month every month all year.
Breakfast staff and the breakfast is amazing! Love u Angela!
We normally stay at the Hampton inn Clarks Summit when in town to be closer to family, but this time we stayed here to be within walking distance of the Lackawanna College graduation, which we were glad we did after seeing the traffic and parking situation around the campus!
When we arrived for check in the lobby was a little chaotic and loud due to it also being the site of Scranton High School’s prom, but we were helped promptly, and the agent called us up over a group that tried to cut us in line. We appreciated that attention to detail. Check in went smoothly and the staff were all friendly.
We were assigned a room on the second floor which is also where the prom was being held. Upon exiting the elevator it was very noisy with music and talking, but once we entered the guest room corridor the noise disappeared almost completely and from our room you would never have known there was a party going on just down the hall! I would have liked to see a keycard door between the banquet space and guest rooms but it wasn’t a huge deal.
Our room itself was fine. Nothing spectacular, definitely a little dated but nothing concerning or unsanitary. The air conditioning worked well. We like it very cold for sleeping and it didn’t quite get as cold as we like it but I think for most people it would be fine.
The parking is in a public ramp but we were able to find a spot pretty easily. I didn’t like that we had to walk outside to get to the hotel from parking, it wasn’t super far but wouldn’t be fun in colder months. As long as you read the parking instructions before you arrive it’s easy to figure out where to go, just make sure you bring your ticket to the front desk when you arrive.
I was slightly disappointed by the onsite café. I first had to wait a long time before anyone came out to help me, then several of the menu items I requested were unavailable. The items we did get were nothing too spectacular either but they were fine. The onsite restaurant was good and the staff were very nice there.
On my next visit, if the price is the same or less than other nearby hotels I would definitely stay there, but if the price was higher I would probably pick somewhere else, unless I needed to be in that exact location again for an event.
Always great.Great front desk staff.
