Pros:

The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. They were able to answer my many questions about the area. The restaurant was amazing, with great food and friendly staff.

Cons:

The rooms have back doors to access the pool area, which is great, but the rooms don't have any numbering to identify them from the pool area,. which is mildly annoying

The place was very well located, and with a beautiful garden.

Although the beds were comfortable, they were very noisy with minimal movement.

Some of the rooms around the bed make a bad sound if you hit it with your foot like in room 117 and 104 or 105 I can't remember.

Cons:

Adjoining room door would not lock and when I arrived the nightstand was shoved to block it which was unnerving. All night I felt like someone was going to try to get into my room. Very uncomfortable feeling.

Old fashioned beautiful place
Pros:

I love the setting and old style rooms. The garden is like a humming bird sanctuary with flowers , large succulents and palms. . Santa Barbara blue skies and mountains are another atmospheric feature which makes every stay a relaxing experience. The on site Crocodile restaurant is a plus with good food and very friendly expert staff.

Cons:

I love staying at the Lemon Tree because it's old fashioned and welcoming.. it's like being in a time warp back in the sixties.
