It's our favourite motel in SB.
Pros:

We have stayed here numerous times and each time we have had a different room in a different location. I believe the rooms are slowly and methodically being renovated, which is a good thing because we have stayed in rooms that badly needed a renovation, especially the bathrooms, and other times the rooms were modern and tasteful. The pool is lovely, the tiki bar is a treat, and the restaurant is excellent.

Cons:

It's sad that the location is a bit too far to walk around State Street and the Funk Zone.

Nice location, friendly staff

Cons:

My fiancé and I hardly slept due to an incredibly loud fridge in the room. Room also needed renovations as there was paint peeling off the walls

Lovely Stop off State in SB
Pros:

Great place to prepare for a medical procedure at nearby Sutter facility. Bathroom totally separate so one could sleep while the other did the necessary preparations. Hope to return and take advantage of the restaurant and the pool, which we were unable to enjoy this time.

Beautiful spot of green in the middle of the city. Great breakfast. Didn't get to use the pool. Wish it stayed open longer. -at least 10.
