Staff is wonderful and a great location.
The room they gave us smelled so bad! I had to ask for another room. They changed our room but the smell still seemed to linger in the 2nd room.
The breakfast was good and very clean in the room
Nothing every thing was good
Great place to stay at and friendly staff
The whole hotel clean
My experience was awful! I took my family and grandkids there, I booked two rooms, the rooms had a terrible smell, breakfast wasn’t good, I ended up checking out a day early, when we arrived home, we were all sick, with red bugs bites .
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Hampton Inn Houston NASA-Johnson Space Center.
I reserved and stayed in only one room, yet I was charged for an additional room that I never booked or occupied. When I contacted the hotel to resolve the issue, they denied that an error had occurred instead of investigating the situation or working with me to correct the billing mistake.
Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and unwillingness to address what appears to be an incorrect charge made this a very frustrating experience.
I would recommend that anyone staying here carefully review their final bill and credit card statement to ensure they are only charged for the room they actually reserved. I hope hotel management takes this issue seriously and improves both its billing practices and its customer service.
Room was clean. Parking was easy and free. Close to the space center. My only complaint was that the water could have been a bit warmer.
If you want a cheap room for a night near the space center, this one was good.
I have mixed feelings here. Upon arrival, the room was nice. We booked a room with two queen beds, which gave ample sleeping space but very cramped walking around space with four of us. The beds had nice pillows, one bed was decently comfortable but the second bed appeared broken somehow and we kept rolling inward.
The bathroom was spacious and had a tub, great for our younger child. However the water pressure was non existent and it took a good 15 minutes to get a decent amount of water in it for her to bathe. Showers were next to impossible to get shampoo rinsed from long hair. The water did stay hot for a long time though.
Housekeeping was sporadic. Our beds were made daily and trash removed but coffee pods and towels were not restocked. After being out all day we returned around 6:45pm and asked the front desk for coffee pods and towels. Marie could not be bothered to get up from the dining area couch where she watched loud videos on her cell phone. She informed me that she doesn’t have access to any of that, and housekeeping only works during the day. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have basic amenities available 24/7. So four of us had to share one towel and some hand towels to shower and bathe.
Breakfast was okay. It’s your typical hotel breakfast. Waffle makers, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and several bagels, breads and mini boxed cereals. On our second morning they ran out of eggs about 45 minutes into serving and said they didn’t have anymore.
The swimming pool was nice, the kids enjoyed that.
All in all, it was okay. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.
The breakfast, the breakfast staff and the location are the best this hotel has to offer.
The air conditioner is extremely loud and the rooms need an update. Unfortunately, during our stay we had 2 fire alarms, the first one was the worst one since there was no staff at the front desk to even take the emergency calls! The receptionist was nowhere to be found and there was no one in there until 15 minutes later after the fire department was already on spot! Luckily it was a false alarm otherwise who knows what would have happened.
No camera surveillance, overserving, no professional security and bad policing. Poor city leadership.
Nice location.
Bed are very hard….bed not comfortable.
Everything was clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was great - very close to Johnson Space Center but not too close that it was super busy. Great eating spots nearby!
Very clean.
All good!
Unfortunately, I was unable to apend much time there.
