WE have stayed here a number of times. The staff is very gracious and welcoming. Breakfast is good. The hotel is being renovated and the room renovations are excellent. We stayed in one of the rooms that was almost completely renovated and it was spacious and well laid out. Comfortable bed, room and bath were very clean. Sam Snead's is literally right next to the hotel which is great after riding in a car all day- good food and varied menu right next door.

Under renovation, putting less furniture and amenities in the rooms, no hot water in shower, no cup/glasses in room, paint smell, Worst than a $50 a night motor lodge.

We recently stayed at Hyatt Place Savannah because of its convenient proximity to the highway. After driving for 12 hours that day, we were simply looking for a place to get a good night’s sleep before continuing our journey the next morning. As a World of Hyatt member, we’ve stayed at many Hyatt hotels over the years and have always had great experiences, but unfortunately this stay was very disappointing.
The staff was friendly throughout our stay, but the hotel itself fell short in several areas. The breakfast food was awful — overcooked, dry, cold, and tasteless, except for the sausage, which had a very strange and unfamiliar flavor. After trying multiple food items, I ultimately settled for a banana and toast. Our room also did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, as the furniture and lampshades were noticeably dusty.
The biggest issue, however, was the noise. Children were running back and forth in the room above us late into the night, and it honestly sounded like the ceiling was going to cave in. We contacted the front desk, and the agent said she would speak with the guests, but the running continued for another half hour before finally stopping, only to start again around 7 a.m. In addition, someone in the upper room or a maybe nearby room flushed their toilet, and there was a loud knocking sound in our wall that sounded as though it was coming from inside our own bathroom plumbing.
We arrived at the hotel around 10 p.m. completely exhausted from a long day of travel. Under different circumstances, we likely would have requested a room change, but by then we had already unpacked, stocked the refrigerator with our cold food and drinks, and settled into bed.
When we spoke with the manager the next morning, we only mentioned the noise issue, and he seemed to treat the situation as something the hotel could not really control. and was somewhat dismissive. He did provide us with 3,500 World of Hyatt points as compensation, which was appreciated, but the room cost was over 12,000 points. In hindsight, we should have shared all of our concerns, and perhaps the situation would have been handled with more understanding and professionalism, and better compensation.
Overall, the stay was far less restful and comfortable than expected, and we will not be returning.

Convenient

Excellent location for the airport. Used the free shuttle to get to the airport - very friendly driver. Breakfast was excellent. Check in staff very friendly & efficient.

Property provided exactly as described. Comfortable, clean, roomy, quiet, good price and value. Check in 3pm and check out 12 pm and no one bothers you. Only three floors in the hotel but everything was convenient. Do not provide cleaning services each day. Ask for sheets for sofa bed and towels after first day. Small counter top in bathroom. Great for families!

Friendly staff. Clean, spacious room.

Very well organized. Great lobby, nice meeting area up front, breakfast spot in the back, snacks available at the front desk, certainly more offerings than I expected to find. A sign said to pardon the construction but I barely knew any was going on. The floorplan of the room was neat, I didn't expect a livingroom and office area with the room. Tom was very helpful.

We were given keys to a room that was already occupied. This really raises security concerns.
