Beautiful hotel in an excellent location.
Pros:

The lovely traditional Venetian furniture was a beautiful feature. The buffet breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

It would have been lovely to have had a bar in the hotel where we could have enjoyed a drink in the evening.

Pros:

Let be honnest. First it is a great location, less than 10min of walk from piazza San Marco. The bed is confortable. And those are the positive things . I ve booked the Deluxe double room , breakfast included 130/night. The walls are as if they don t exist. You can hear everything, I mean every single noise , from the attending rooms. Water running, shower, conversations , people Moving fourniture, falling small objects . One of the most restless hotel stays I ve ever had by far.. and I am a frequent traveller for decades. Impossible to sleep properly or just have a rest during the day. Same for the windows, they are not sound proof. Then the hair dryer. I mean who uses still those,it is completly useless. A basic hairdryer costs around 30 euros , it would be nice to put some in the rooms.
Then the breakfast ( 20euros) is poor. Scrambled eggs bathing in grease, some pieces of saussage in hot water.. the bread is uneatable, not a trace from some greens or vegetable. 2 types of yogurt, no gluten free option .. and so on .. don t bother paying for it go and find a bakery outside. Overall it is not good value for the money ..

A waste of money and a disgrace to call this place a 4 star hotel.

Cons:

The fact that I got bed bug bites all over my body, the shower didn't work properly, and the AC to the room was broken so I sat in a constant 26-28 °C. And then the lack of care from the hotel after the fact was disgraceful, ghosted by the hotel and the holding company. Shameful, however if you want bed bugs feel free to stay here
