Just okay, I would not go overboard. Our room was pleasant as we had to pay for a suite
Pros:

Everything was reasonable including room. We had to select this room as at time of booking no other rooms was available, we had to select the palace suite which was more expensive. When we had to pay the actual cost was more higher than expected . I had sent messages to booking.com to no avail so not happy with booking.com!!! Also we would like to shout out to Mohamed Shafiq who was a serving at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, he was excellent. Thank you for your professional outlook and kindness.

Cons:

For breakfast the fruit selection was very poor. The displayed food was not hot, all the lids were kept open and the staff did not close them. the room was not kept clean enough. No sweeping or vaccuming. Our dining room was left dirty. Plates were not replaced with clean plates and cutlery.

A Gorgeous Newly Renovated Legend Hotel of KK

wonderful staff. no fuss checkin and checkout. the newly renovated Palace Hotel is simply gorgeous in her pristine white hallways and pastel colored guest rooms. super comfortable bed, efficient aircon, strong wifi and strong pressure shower. i love the new smart TV. the breakfast buffer has wide variety of choice with a lovely open view of the greenery next to the hotel. i like that the swimming pool is open until 10 pm and i enjoy the steam room (though the temperature of the steam room should be higher. tidak cukup panas to feel the full benefits of sweating out hehe). the housekeeping staff is helpful and super efficient. the spa on 1st floor annex building is beautiful with wonderful staff and excellent massage - friendly therapist with very good skills, firm pressure. there is a cute shop selling Sabah handicrafts at the lobby. location within walking distance to Karamunsing is definitely a BIG bonus! definitely recommended!

Cons:

a little feedback for improvement - the breakfast buffet maybe needs to be fully ready a bit earlier. during my stay, i came down for breakfast around 8 am everyday (the breakfast is served starting 6.30 am, so it is a full 1.5 hours after the start time) but some food were not yet ready, specifically the sunny side up eggs at egg station and the lada padi kicap (a little letdown when you were ready to have the yummy mee goreng hehe). and i experienced this on more than one occasion. just a minor observation, not a deal breaker. hope this will improve :-)

와이파이: 방마다 다른지 모르지만 방에서 와이파이 접속은 너무 아쉬웠음. 1층 로비에서도 마찬가지.

Does what it says on the tin.
Pros:

Good value for money, room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Like that the floor was not carpeted.

Cons:

Room furnishings are outdated, a higher room class would have got renovated rooms. But this was not so important.
