It could have been a hell of a lot better.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, and the furnishings in the room were pleasant.

Cons:

The hotel lobby, halls etc are under complete renovation. The stairwell was blocked off and ice machines etc are not in operation. What was VERY ANNOYING was that there was no mention of this on the website. There was no compensation offered. There was a truck parked in the one check-in space and it was still there when we checked out. Very poor signage to help the driving guest in a construction zone.

Wouldn’t recommend
Cons:

The room had a very noisy fridge or something in the wall that kept me up most of the night. Also, didn’t know I would be on a floor that was being renovated.
The train was very frequent and loud as well. ( not the hotels fault) I had to call the desk the first night for the very close adjoining type room we were given because they were having some sort of party.
I did mention all this when we checked out but the desk staff didn’t seem to care.
The room would have been cozy if not for that.

Beautiful location right across the street from the beach. Our 1 bedroom suite was fantastic with 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, and very soundproof.

Cons:

There was renovations going on which made it a little trickier to enter and exit the hotel and there was a make shift front desk You also couldn’t access the stairs so we relied on one elevator which meant for long waits during busy times.

They are apparently remodeling, which I did not notice mention of at time of booking. Parking at $23/night is a bit disappointing. Not many choices for food, entertainment within walking distance

Great location and value
Pros:

We stayed for 2 weeks in winter. Renovations are being done at present but had no effect on patrons at all. Very close to beach and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Very clean with daily housekeeping. Would highly recommend!

Overall it was a lovely visit. My husband and I both enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

The Bachelor suite had everything we needed. The fireplace was very nice. 🤗💥

Cons:

We went out on our deck to have tea and were shocked to see people sleeping in the next room. Not a private balcony.
