The location was ok & while the beach is within walking distance it is not always safe to swim at this beach due to large waves & strong currents.
Responsiveness by Tapia Haus to communications before arrival was very poor. On arrival the headboard was not clean so we had to clean it ourselves. Also there was no water working in taps, shower or toilet. This continued throughout our 3 night stay. While we were told this was a local government issue it wasn't dealt with professionally by Tapia Haus who led us to believe it would be fixed and who didn't keep us properly updated as they promised. Tapia Haus were aware of the issue in advance of our arrival but did not pre-warn us. I complained and requested a refund as this issue significantly impacted our stay negatively. In the end I had to settle for a reimbursement of 1 night's stay as payment had been directly to Tapia Haus & not through Booking.com. We do not normally complain but no water for 3 days was quite poor and unacceptable for a multi-room establishment.

How it is ran took me too long to check-in no staff on sight when i finally got in not as clean or spacious

Condizionatore rumoroso, impianto dell acqua mal funzionante, in bagno non arrivava acqua calda e altri problemi, scarico wc invece caricava acqua calda invece che fredda e perdeva creando rumore nella notte. Colazione davvero scarsa
Close to the beach and plenty of shops, appears to be a safe area made to order breakfast
The room was very very small. No place to store luggage a very small closet between the bed and shower area. Very little privacy, no door to block bathroom area toilet was right by the door to exit the room if you open the door and someone is on the toilet they will be seen, shower area also did not have a door just a glass partition the window did not have any curtains
The location is central, everything you could ever want is in walking distance which made me feel like a local.. Access to the property is phenomenal. The space is very clean and really for a solo or couple travelers nothing more. It's 10 minutes to the airport which is great.
My only complain will be the water shut down without notice during bathroom use,, apparently there is an issue with that but I had no idea until check out.
It was an old small apartment. It had an odor. It didn't feel safe because you could hear the neighbors in the hallway and it sounded like they were opening your door. The towels and the bedding were discolored. It wasn't what I expected. It was too small for 3 people.
It was very clean and it felt very secure and safe
There was no Wi-Fi for at least 50% of the time I was there which was a huge inconvenience. There was no hot water in the shower and just before I left the toilet stopped working. It was very noisy and I found management occasionally not responsive other times they were responsive.
Great location
L’hôtel est très bien placé, nous étions à 10 minutes à peine en Uber du Old San Juan, 25-30 minutes du point de rdv pour la forêt d’El Yunke et surtout porche de l’aéroport SJU. Un peu de bruits autour mais pas dérangeant. Je recommande cet établissement.
Chambre très propre !
Il y a un point négatif auquel nous n’avions pas fait attention en réservant, c’est la conciergerie il n’y en a pas comme c’est une arrivée libre et un départ libre. Nous avons donc déposés nos bagages à côté dans un restaurant qui propose ce service (pas très cher)
