room, decor, restaurant
Slippery floor of spa bath/ shower
The beds were so comfortable. The location was within walking distance to everywhere we needed to go
Everything was great
Great location
Weird decor - probably appealed to some.
Bed wasn’t overly comfortable and we couldn’t get the heat pump working properly.
I love the proximity of the Tides to town, it's walking distance there and to a supermarket, lovely riverside walks too. The decor is vibrant and fun - as are the toilet seats etc! Parking right out front in a mobility park is much appreciated and access in and around restaurant/bar is great too.
Room 42 wasn't the usual disability room I've stayed at in the past. So I was surprised at the shower set-up - not the easiest to manage in the tight space - and water from the shower flowed through the (closed) shower door onto the bathroom floor when my partner was showering.
As always, it was a wonderful stay. Staff were amazing and food was so yummy.
Very nice Hotel. Location is walking distance to the city. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and tidy. You got to love the art around the building. Tides is my go to Hotel when I travel to Nelson! You won't be disappointed staying here.
Nice and comfy rooms loved my stay!
Conveniently located and has everything for no hassle business stop over
Having to pay extra for parking
I liked the location.
I didn't enjoy the evening meal, I ordered chicken keiv which was disappointing and despite telling the waitress could she pass on my comments to the kitchen, nobody came to-talk to me. The Keiv was hardly any more than a fillet of chicken with a crumb like coating on the outside, there was very little discernible filling inside which is what I would expect.
