The location

Cons:

Room temperature was constantly hot, no cool air from aircon.
Although advised lack of restaurant and bar was annoying. I was directed down a steep 10 minute walk to restaurants and as a recovering cancer and stoma patient didn’t need that.

Location, secure parking, room size, pet friendly

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit chaotic, too many guests at one time, no pre booking option available, therefore had to skip breakfast entirely as so many people at once queuing. Restaurant not open for lunch nor dinner, understandable in off season and this is advertised as to end of February ( stay was 21 March)

Good location for the bilbao ferry, only 6.5km away

Cons:

Restaurants closed in off season so had to order in.
Balcony had not been cleaned in a long time but room was spotless.
Breakfast starts at 8 am on sunday, too late for ferry

Dead fish left in containers on very cold room’s spectacular veranda made for a terrible night.

Nothing much apart from staff who were pleasant & helpful.

Cons:

Room was very cold Wind whistled in the large windows wafting on the smell of the remnants of dead fish on veranda Staff turned on heating and it made little to no difference. Then they brought in a portable heater. It helped but we were really cold for much of the night. There was no food served and this was as we expected. However there was a list of snacks available to buy - tortilla and sandwiches but supplies were very depleted. There only appeared to be crisps available when we needed a snack from advertised list. . A free “warm drink offered” was putrid… tasted like a mixture of lemon juice and harissa
