We stayed 2 nights in the hotel, it is in a great location and very handy for the ferry to Ireland.
Pros:

The room had excellent views and was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, however, it is very difficult to find even with the most up-to-date GPS system. The Reception staff are aware of this and advised us that they have made several attempts to advise Google that they have the hotel in the "wrong location" on their maps! The hotel is shown down the street from its actual location - however, it is opposite the hospital, so when we realised that, it was easy to find it.

Cons:

The dining room and bar were both closed, which was unfortunate as when we initially booked (a couple of months ago) it looked as if they were open.

Great views of the bay at sunrise
Pros:

The hotel staff are always lovely and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location for me and my family who live close by. When the sun rises the harbour view is fantastic from the bedroom window.

Cons:

On a number of visits now, I will agree with some negative comments about maintenance of the hotel. The owners need to address the vacuuming of the carpets and the black fungus mold around the bathroom showers. In addition; my last bedroom had a cracked washbasin which needs replacing., and other wear and tear which needs money investing in repair to keep up the whole feel of the hotel.

Very poor customer service site reception only by one member of staff but that let the team down

The location is very good. I have stayed here before and it’s convenient for the ferry.

Cons:

On this occasion the breakfast is Paul. I only booked one day breakfast and decided not to have a second day that was agreement when I arrived pay per day but then they decided to charge me anyway for the second day. I would not take it off the Bill I kept on getting repeatedly told contract , without listening to my side of the story I did not pre-book a second day. I just asked for one day and they agreed to it on my arrival not that they then charge me when I checked out on my credit card when I had already paid on a rifle so therefore they agreed to refund me but only partially refunded me because of the exchange rate I was charged more money again. Very disappointed that I could not even discuss the breakfast charge without getting the invoice pushed in my face and told contract. unfortunately for them, I have no intention of staying it again when I regularly goes through the port of Bilbao .

Hotel con buena ubicación pero muy mejorable

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, tiene una arquitectura muy interesante, el personal es amable y las habitaciones son bastante amplias. Si consigues la habitación por buen precio te sacará de un apuro.

Cons:

El ruido del tren en la habitación era exagerado, incluso las ventanas temblaban. Además la habitación era bastante fría y aunque intentaron darnos una solución la habitación seguía siendo especialmente fría.
