B&B Hotel Palermo Quattro Canti

You have to climb some stairs to get to the property and if you have heavy bags or physically challenged , this can be difficult.

Si l’on veut se reposer à l’hôtel et se coucher tôt, il faut demander une chambre à l’arrière.

L’hôtel doit équiper les chaises de patins en feutre car elles sont lourdes et les clients les traînent au lieu de les soulever quelle que soit l’heure. L’hôtel doit aussi mieux régler le mécanisme de fermeture des portes pour qu’elles ne claquent pas puisque les clients ne les retiennent pas pour éviter qu’elles claquent la plupart du temps.

La qualité des produits du petit déjeuner est assez médiocre.

The building was made up of more than one old building and so there were lots of corridors on each floor. There were 2 elevators on each floor but trying to find them or even the main staircase was a nightmare as none of these were signposted!! It took mere 10 minutes to find an elevator the first time. Was like being stuck in a maze!!
Also the rooftop restaurant was lovely but I felt the staff were not particularly well engaged or helpful.

2. no servizio in camera dopo mezzanotte. Si va in hotel per avere i servizi, altrimenti meglio un B&B e spendo meno della meta'.

Rooms quite simple but it doesn’t matter much as the location and view from rooftop are so great and you’ll want to explore the city anyway.

The furniture in the room was a bit old and the room would benefit from more furniture (it is a big room with a lot of empty space).

We arrived at the accommodation late at night and were given rooms 425 and 426. Both rooms were in terrible condition and looked completely different from what we had booked and seen in the photos. On top of that, there was a very strong musty smell in both rooms. The likely reason is that the rooms had previously been seriously flooded, as visible signs of water damage could be seen across the entire floor area.

The shower in the bathroom was also faulty and sprayed water everywhere, which made the overall experience even worse.

We immediately reported the issue through the Booking platform and requested a room change, as in my opinion the severe dampness and moldy condition of the rooms could even be harmful to health. The reception called us within 5 minutes and immediately arranged a replacement. Instead of new rooms, we were upgraded to an apartment as compensation for the inconvenience, which we appreciated.

I recommend that everyone ask about the condition of the room when collecting the keys, so they do not end up being assigned these terrible rooms.

Fue otra pareja con nosotros y la habitación que les tocó no se correspondía con lo que contrataron. Era una habitación horrible. Y para llegar a ella tenían que subir tramos de escaleras sin ascensor.

The area was not very welcoming. The building and reception area looked good. But that was all.. One elevator was out of order. The place had a bad odor. The bathroom sink had ants. The cost of the room was definitely not worth what was paid.
