Room was a good size for price, but would not stay at a Best Western again.
Cons:

Room and bathroom were dirty: dust everywhere, hair in sink and bathtub, toilet was dirty and stained, dirt/trash on the floor, splatters on the tv screens. The air unit in main room gave off a spoil smell. Linens and towels were fresh and clean. Tub drained very slow, so I was standing in water during shower, water was lukewarm. Swimming pool water temp was freezing during both days of our stay (2 very disappointed kids) Day of checkout, the entire 3rd floor hallway and stairwell spelt like something was rotting. I'm assuming food was in a trashcan that had not been emptied.

Good value choice
Pros:

This was a generally good choice for a reasonable price with just a few quibbles. On the plus side, the hotel is up a steep hill off the road to Tularosa so it is very quiet. The room was huge and very clean, well appointed with plenty of storage and easy-to-use TV. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine. On the less positive side, the side doors to the outside were not locked. There was no vent in the bathroom and although there was plenty of hot water, pressure in the shower head was low and the direction of the shower head could not be adjusted.
