Meets but doesn't exceed
Pros:

The decor, the staff, the location, easy access to the lake

Cons:

No shampoo or conditioner, the parking was very tight and the rooftop hot tub was out of order, ping pong table was broken, no fires in the firepits

Fun place to stay. It’s like a clean hostel for grown ups. Simple but fun!
Pros:

Great location. Friendly staff. Yummy breakfast (not included but great quality at a good price.

Cons:

The main AC was broken and the roll away one was a bit loud. But it wasn’t bad.

Cons:

Staff not helpful, room old and baseboards very dirty. No guaranteed parking because random people park on the hotels guest parking. Staff did nothing to help with this. The a/c unit was a joke. It was like once they had their money they could care less about making my stay a good one. Overpriced for what I received. I would never stay there again. I would recommend others look elsewhere to spend their hard earned money. STAY AWAY!.

Pros:

Location, cleanliness, and simplicity. Also the fact that the room i stayed in (246), was able to sleep peacefully with a baby while the live music was playing right by.

Cons:

The bed. Too soft. Body ache a little due to being sunken in cause of the softness.

The hotel is advertised as a boutique hotel. I would say more vintage thrift.

Cons:

The facility is very old there was a constant smell of pot on the balcony and a portable AC in the room that was leaking water onto the carpet. The shower is TINY and only stairs to the third floor.

perfect location and fit our needs well
Pros:

Proximity to everything in South Lake. Rooms were clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. Loved there was a local coffee shop and breakfast amenities there as well as an option to enjoy music and beers at the local brewery/beer garden.

Cons:

Had challenges getting the TV in the room to function and our toilet was a bit clogged/disfunctioning. We weren't hassled enough to call for help but would have been better if ensured at arrival.

Great location, but the rooms are showing their age and need a deep clean.
Pros:

I stayed here years ago and had such a positive experience that I decided to come back. The location is still fantastic, and I enjoyed the unique theme and atmosphere of the property. We especially loved roasting marshmallows in the evening and listening to local musicians perform in the courtyard.

Cons:

Unfortunately, I could tell that the cleanliness and overall condition of the rooms have declined since my previous stay. There was visible dirt and grime along the baseboards, the bathroom door was noticeably deteriorated at the bottom, and the floors creaked significantly when walking around the room. The shower was quite small, and the overall room felt like it was trying to strike a balance between vintage and updated, but unfortunately leaned more toward old and dingy than charming.

The room was clean enough that we were comfortable staying there, but the property would greatly benefit from some renovations and a very thorough deep cleaning before the wear and tear become more serious. While we still enjoyed parts of our stay, particularly the location and courtyard atmosphere, we would not choose to stay here again.
