Generous and comfortable rustic apartment nestled in mature gardens with beautiful pool.
Pros:

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in Ortensia Apartment for the last two weeks of July. The aircon was always cold, the bedroom dark for sleeping, a separate lounge and dining, kitchen, and a toilet and bathroom each! We had our own outdoor setting where we had coffee and breakfast everyday surrounded by the lovely grounds and beautiful birdsong. We were always given friendly greetings by fellow residents in the grounds and around the beautiful, large, shared pool area - which never felt crowded and had plenty of lounges, chairs, tables and umbrellas for everyone, as well as a great mix of shaded and sunny positions. The free carpark was easy to access and the host, Gianluca, was always amenable and answered queries promptly. We loved cycling and walking every morning in the surrounding areas - it is possible to walk to Cortona (but it takes about 60-90 minutes each way). We drove there every evening in 10 minutes for aperitivo, dinner and gelato and also did many trips to nearby towns for lunches and exploring. It was always a highlight of our day to relax by the pool in the afternoon on our return! We would definitely stay at Residence Casale again and would not hesitate to recommend it for a beautiful, relaxing stay in the heart of Tuscany.

Eine tolle Auszeit in einer sehr schönen Anlage

Eine wunderschöne Anlage - ein Ort für sich; sehr schöner Pool, Zimmer/FeWo war gut ausgestattet und bei Temperaturen von 37°C angenehm gekühlt, Personal/Leitung war sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar sowie hilfsbereit; Cortona mit dem eBike gut erreichbar

Cons:

Perfekt wäre es gewesen, einen Bäcker in der Nähe oder einen „Brötchenservice“ zu haben, vielleicht sogar einen kleinen Laden mit Gemüse/Obst, um den COOP/CONAD zu meiden und/oder ein paar Flyer/Infos (Direzione war geschlossen). Aber das NUR als freundliche Anregung - keine Kritik. Denn es war wirklich wunderbar für uns.

Parfait pour se reposer et visiter la région
Pros:

Le lieu calme, reposant avec une grande piscine disponible tout le temps. Le jardin bien entretenu. Différents espaces où chaque hôte peut être tranquille.

Cons:

Accueil uniquement par WhatsApp, on aurait aimé une visite des lieux. La terrasse liée a notre appartement n’était pas a côté, il fallait faire le tour de la maison pour y accéder.

Beautiful location close to Cortona
Pros:

We had a lower-level 2-bedroom apartment, which was quite nice. We loved how the building's original features were kept and combined beautifully with the modern needs.
The bed was comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Close drive to Cortona, and parking at the location.
The grounds are very well maintained, and we enjoyed our breakfast outside on the patio.

Cons:

Not something I disliked, it's more of a suggestion :)
Salt, pepper, and a little bit of oil will be a very nice touch to the well-equipped kitchen. We made our breakfast, and while shopping, we hadn't thought to buy those, as usually we find them in the kitchens :)

Superb
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and pool area, well maintained and manicured. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed, except a corkscrew for wine! Plenty of parking and the staff were very pleasant. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, and being allowed have our small dogs with us by the pool was a big plus.

Cons:

The apartment we stayed in didn't have direct access to the courtyard, the entrance was outside the gated walls and you had to enter via a side gate. It was a bit strange but not that big of a deal. Took us a while to figure it out in the dark when we arrived!
