Simply wonderful
Pros:

Personal touches and kindness of the hosts. Also as a celiac - probably this was the best breakfst I have ever eaten as a celiac. The pastries were so good that I was licking my fingers all the time. Mille grazie!

Hotel 4 stelle che rispecchia completamente la classificazione ufficiale, il che non è scontato... Il personale è semplicemente fantastico per cortesia e professionalità. La pulizia da 10 è lode. La posizione è strategica in quanto pur essendo al di fuori della ZTL si trova a quattro passi dal centro.. Direi che complessivamente è stata un'esperienza più che positiva.

Tout : accueil chaleureux et attentif, hotel à taille humaine, chambre vaste magnifiquement meublée, accessibilité en voiture de l'extérieur et à pied pour la vieille ville, petit déjeuner très complet avec jus d'orange frais et surtout agrémenté de bouchées cuisinées quasi gastronomiques, le cadeau de biscottinis et vin santo le soir. On donnerait une note supérieure à 10 si elle existait. A recommander sans modération

La perfetta accoglienza

Dall'accoglienza al momento di lasciare la struttura non abbiamo smesso di stupirci della gentilezza di tutto il personale che abbiamo incontrato. Villa Marsili è un gioiello. La camera che ci hanno assegnato era enorme con un affaccio fantastico sulla valle. I letti comodi e la stanza estremamente silenziosa. La doccia...stupenda.
Non sarei in grado di trovare un difetto neanche cercandolo.
Tutto è stato perfetto. La colazione era curata in ogni minimo particolare, tutto era fresco e cucinato in casa.
Certamente Villa Marsili è una delle attrazioni di Cortona.
Se dovessimo tornare in questa zona della Toscana non avrei alcun dubbio su dove soggiornare.

Charming Tuscan Hotel

We loved this hotel! The staff are so welcoming and helpful. The lobby is filled with details, the decor, suggestions of places to see, bowls of delicious candy… The staff also helped with parking, which was very convenient. The rooms are beautifully decorated and our view was so pretty! Evenings there were delicious hors d’oeuvres and later typical Tuscan sweets for an after dinner treat. The location is good, just a quick walk to downtown. Breakfast is the best I have had anywhere. Hot, savory items, all kinds of pastries and a variety of breads. 10 different types of homemade jams. Huge variety of delicious fruit. Yogurts and cheeses and cold cuts. Homemade baked goods. A lot more. All so beautifully served as well as such nice and attentive servers. This hotel exudes Tuscan charm. We will return!

Lovely peaceful hotel with character and a view
Pros:

It was such a peaceful beautiful old villa with the warmest and most welcoming staff. I liked also that it was tucked on the edge of town and was very quiet with a great view. I also felt safe walking the short distance up the slight hill to get to town even at night. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in lovely Cortona.
