Det var rent och välstädat och en riktigt bra frukost.
Gammalt och slitet och skulle behöva en uppfräschning.
Very nice hot tub and clean rooms. Enough space and great room service. Booked with 3rd party so the 50$ deposit wasn’t a big issue. I would stay again
The location and price.
The room was very basic and a lot of stuff was just old seems needs to be upgraded
Amazing hotel, once you walk in it looks beautiful and smelled amazing, check in was great and fast very friendly.
We booked 2 rooms for the sleep, park, fly combo.
The room was average but could have used a little maintenance. Long term parking worked well. The return shuttle from the airport didn't work well at all.
We returned from an oversees trip and very fortunately got through passport control quicker than we expected. Got to the terminal exit in time to catch the shuttle but was told by the driver the shuttle was full and we'd have to wait an hour for the next shuttle. Next time I will pick a hotel with a bigger capacity shuttle or one that runs more than once an hour especially since it's serving Country Inn as well as the Holiday Inn next door.
I took my daughter here for a little overnight getaway because they had a pool in a hot tub. We checked in and my daughter wanted to go swimming right away, so we changed and went down to the swimming pool. The first thing I noticed was the water in the swimming pool was cloudy. Also, there was hair everywhere around the pool area and fake nails and garbage everywhere when we are done swimming at the pool. We went upstairs and I started investigate the room because of the cleanliness around the pool area and much to my surprise. There was no mattress cover on the mattress so when I lifted up the sheets, the bed was full of pee, stains. Next to the bed was dried up, stickiness full of bugs all the furniture head stains on it when I went to address this with thefront desk and leave the hotel because I was not staying there they said because I booked through a third-party I would have to go through them get my refund so I called Expedia to get the refund. they called the hotel the hotel said because I was there for two hours anddidn’t bring this to their attention right away that they couldn’t refund my money.
Parking hot pool and working spa. Beds were comfortable
Hair and the insides of a diaper in the pool area. My bedding was damp had to plug in all the tvs after looking for the problem for 30 mins.
Bed was comfortable, shuttle was convenient and staff was helpful !
Tv didn't work easily
The rooms are very nice and spacious. I had a great day and the staff was very nice.
Very please with this hotel didn’t have one problem
After my flight was canceled at O’Hare Airport, my wife booked me a room here. Upon entering the suite, yes a suite, I was greeted with stained furniture that was disgusting to look at let alone want to sit on. I took a picture and brought it to the front desk to ask why this was acceptable for guests. He shrugged his shoulders and asked me if I wanted a bed sheet to cover it up. Not if I wanted to change rooms, no explanation as to why the furniture was stained, just if I wanted a bed sheet to cover it up.
Because I don’t carry credit cards, when I checked in, I had to give them $100 cash, to which I was told that I would get back when I checked out in the morning. (4am) When went to check out, the person working the front desk didn’t know what I was talking about, barely spoke English and I had to basically convince him to give me my deposit back.
I cannot, in good faith, recommend this hotel. It appears they care more about quantity of guests than quality of service and pride in their appearance.
Dissatisfied
We used the park and fly feature. Our room was in need of a total overhaul - the furniture is old but what bothered me more was the bathroom needed a good cleaning and painting. The elevator floor was filthy. Front desk staff are friendly. Regarding the park/fly feature, it is easy and true to what they promise. The van to the airport was fast and convenient. Pick up at the inn and at the airport went true to what is stated.
If the scale started at 20 stars, then maybe—maybe—this Country Inn & Suites would qualify as a 3-star property. On any normal scale, it falls far short of even basic expectations.
To be fair, the sheets and towels were clean. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
The staff at the front desk were astonishingly poorly trained and seemed to have little understanding of even the most basic hospitality standards. During check-in, the clerk refused to honor the reservation, handled the situation in an unprofessional manner, and then gave misleading information about how a refund would be issued. The interaction felt intentionally deceptive rather than simply confused.
The property itself is also only partially remodeled as of March 2026. Some rooms may appear updated, but others remain quite shabby and dated—a patchwork renovation that leaves parts of the hotel looking neglected (see photos). The result is a very inconsistent experience depending on which room you are assigned.
Most concerning: do not stay here if you require any ADA-related understanding or accommodation. The staff demonstrated a striking lack of awareness and sensitivity around accessibility issues, which is unacceptable for any hotel.
While waiting in the lobby, it was clear this was not an isolated experience. Several other guests were also voicing complaints about their stays and the way issues were handled.
Unless you are simply searching for the absolute cheapest room available and have extremely low expectations, I strongly recommend avoiding this property. There are far better options that provide both professional service and basic respect for guests.
Hotel is dated. Upgrades attempted but looks more like DYI attempt. The mirror in the bathroom was places behind the faucet so you can't lift it up all the way and only get a trickle.
Carpet old and dirty. Lots of poor drywall patches.
The paint coming off the walls in bathroom, room and pool area. Pool area had cracked tiles and hot tub. Hot tub is anything but... spewing cold water from jets.
Breakfast is mediocre. TV didn't work. It was 27 degrees out and the automatic doors got stuck open. Guy at desk wearing heavy jacket didn't do anything while guests in pj's and sweats froze.
2nd night card key didn't work,.wrote it off as a fluke but next 2 nights the same. Had to get new card each night. Was told manager would look into it... "software problem"
Good deal wasn't that good
We got to the hotel and the first room had half of the things in it broken. It was a King Suite. The door was askew and didn't quite fit leading to a HORRIBLE screeching noise when it opened. Not ideal when you have a napping infant. The toilet seat was cracked and broken and slipped all over the place. There were USB ports all over the room but only ONE port worked. As the finishing touch, the ved was somehow both lumpy and hard AND it had a broken baseboard making it so that if you put weight on one end the other end would tilt upward.
We requested a new room and ended up with a double queen room with no change in charge. The beds almost may as well have been plywood boards but at least the baseboards were intact. NONE of the USB ports in this room worked. The bathtub had cracked and flaking finish, making it dangerous to use as water would seap underneath the tub.
After finally getting some sleep, we went down to breakfast. Available were: potato wedges, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own waffles, eggs, and sausage patties. There was also a dispenser of cereals and a soda fountain of juice and water.
All of the food was cold. There was a mini-fridge with a pitcher of milk that had an open/close dial and packets of creamer. This dial did nothing. The fridge was askew and although it seemed to be sealed, the pitcher of milk was sour.
Needless to say, this was an extremely disappointing stay. We had a delightful experience with the branch in Green Bay, WI but clearly the Chicago branch simply doesn't care.
Staff was friendly and the shuttle driver got up to the airport on time. Would us them again.
