Van 18 tot en met 28 april verbleven wij met onze kinderen van 4 en 6 jaar in Allegro Isora op Tenerife.
Wij boekten deze vakantie bewust voor een onbezorgde gezinsvakantie, mede vanwege de faciliteiten zoals een verwarmd zwembad met glijbaan, all inclusive, speeltuin en pannakooi.

Op de foto’s ziet het resort er prachtig uit, maar in werkelijkheid vonden wij het helaas wat tegenvallen.

Het zwembad bleek niet verwarmd te zijn en was erg koud. De glijbaan waar onze kinderen zich enorm op verheugden, konden we slechts twee dagen gebruiken. Daarna werd deze onverwachts gerenoveerd en bleef hij de rest van onze vakantie gesloten. Vooral voor onze zoon was dit erg teleurstellend.

De pannakooi en speeltuin bevinden zich achter het hotel. De pannakooi op zich is prima, maar het veld bestaat uit losse vierkante stukken kunstgras in plaats van één geheel. Hierdoor bleven voeten regelmatig haken achter de naden, wat niet erg veilig aanvoelde.

Ook de speeltuin is echt aan vervanging toe. Onze dochter is hier hard gevallen doordat er gaten in het kunstgras zaten.

Wat wij wel erg positief vonden, was het personeel in het restaurant. Er wordt hard gewerkt en de medewerkers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze doen echt hun best om het iedereen naar de zin te maken.

Het eten bij het restaurant aan het zwembad vonden wij minder goed. Gerechten zoals hotdogs en hamburgers waren regelmatig koud.

Ondanks alles hebben wij geprobeerd er zelf een fijne vakantie van te maken, maar het verschil tussen de foto’s en de werkelijkheid vonden wij behoorlijk groot. Daardoor vielen de vier sterren ons uiteindelijk toch wat tegen.

Nesesita un buen mantenimiento

Cons:

Esta muy dejado el mantenimiento del hotel. Da muy mala imagen. Tanto en zonas comunes como la propia habitación. Malos materiales y ya muy cascados. Las fotos engañan. La gente reserva las hamacas desde antes de las 7:00 am y se complica conseguir hamaca. Colas inmensas para el restaurante buffet (tambien toca madrugar y cenar a primera hora). Para no repetir. Una pena, porque el personal todo maravilloso. Todos muy amables.
