The staff were super friendly. I was accommodated for my broken foot.
The bed linen had a strong detergent smell. It was difficult to go to sleep, but was clean.. The lighting was nit bright enough, but worked for our short stay.

I liked everything. But I especially liked Brandi who was at the counter. She was absolutely pleasant. Wonderful helped me find a store because I had forgotten my outfit for the birthday party. She was excellent.
The only thing I didn't like was that the pool was not available.
Well when we booked our stay we thought the pool was good to swim in due the extreme weather and it was down for maintenance the entire time. We checked in and I asked when the pool closed every night I was told 11 pm and was never told it was closed due to maintenance and was charged as if it was running and open. I tried to get a hold of someone and waited over an hour on the phone with no one answering just was hung up on. Also when the fire alarm went off. We were no evaluated out of the building or never told all was clear to go back in. The fire department even had a hard time finding a staff member. The bed was so hard I think the floor would have been more comfortable.
The coffee was excellent. The offerings were on point. The coffee was available all day. The space for collecting the breakfast items seemed roomy.

Thought I was getting a double room and didn’t. Wasn’t informed the pool was down.
The staff was always friendly and helpful
We had a suite. There was no window in the bedroom. There was a dead space in the room. It could have been a closet or shelves, but it was just an empty niche.
It was close to where we needed to be. They had a decent breakfast.
There was one elevator and the hotel was completely full. It seemed like there was only one employee. Took forever for service. It’s not the cleanest at all.
This Holiday Inn Express & Suites was clean and comfortable. There was some renovation in progress during my stay, repairing drywall and the like, but that did not affect my stay. I really like the swimming pool, larger than most motels. The most remarkable breakfast that I have seen, with foods/beverages to please every taste. LOVED the warm cinnamon rolls! The coffee machines, which grind coffee beans and produce individual cups of coffee, were excellent! Staff were friendly and attentive!
There was a large corner of my room that was empty. As there was an overhead, hanging light, I suspect that there was a recliner or perhaps a table and chairs in the past. The only chair in the room was the desk chair, so I had to sit on the bed while a friend visited. Also, the pool hours were 10 am to 11 pm, and check-out time is 11 am. I would like to have had the pool open earlier to take a morning swim before departing.

Lots of storage space
Called me less then 1 day before to let me know the room I paid for was no longer available due to upgrades in the hotel they didn't have the jacuzzi tubs any longer and didn't compensate me for loosing that ammenity.
* Lots of exposed wires underneath tv that were stuffed in a cut out in the wall.
*Nasty hair in bathtub, not clean and tub was chipped.
*Extremely thin walls and floors. Heard nosie above and on the sides of the room all night for 2 days.
Easy to find, very comfortable, and the breakfast is great.
I did not like how I was being charged for my stay before arriving to check-in because I chose to pay at the property, not online before hand.
