Hampton Inn Woodbridge

After a long drive from Massachusetts to North Carolina, we stopped in Woodbridge around 2:00 AM hoping to get a room for the night. Unfortunately, the front desk clerk told us they were unable to accommodate us because the hotel had already “closed out the day” and could not accept any new reservations.

We were surprised, as this hotel is located right off I-95, where late-night travelers and walk-ins would seem fairly common. No alternative options or accommodations were offered, which left us with no choice but to continue driving through the night.

This was an unexpected and disappointing experience, especially given the location and the time of night.

This was a great hotel. Convenient comfortable and nice vibe.
We were cruising out of Bayonne and was a 30 minute ride.
Convenient dinning. Nice breakfast. Gym was good parking convenient.
Staff were great, very helpful.

We chose this hotel for its central location for the next stop on our roadtrip. And it worked out perfectly. Free onsite parking. Easy check-in. Dinner options across the parking lot; 10% discount for hotel guests! Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast in a nice setting off the lobby. Our only complaint was not being able to figure out how to watch network and local television stations. We like to know the local weather and watch primetime network shows.

Breakfast was limited. Supposedly ovens were not working.Not enough lighting in Room.

Did not get any breakfast front desk say electricity was out and all the meat spoil the elevator did not work and no heat apart from that everything's was ok we like thesuite

Great place to stay

Everything was fine, but the room had a musty smell to it.

Good location, good price, good parking but alot of fruit flies in the room.

Everything went very good. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff we saw in the hallways were friendly and the breakfast was good.

Our stay was fantastic!! Eric was phenomenal!! He was extremely helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. I loved the addition of texting to offer assistance. Whoever owns & maintains this Hampton Inn needs an award! First, with Eric being so Wonderful, we were impressed from start. It was a very nice touch to be greeted with a gift bag of water & chocolates. After a really long drive, it was refreshing to receive at check in. Our room was spacious, clean & comfortable. We really liked the ottomans that provided additional seating & the separate eating/work tray. Nice closet space with all the necessities & a hanging rack for you to steam your clothes as well. It was like they thought of everything, every little niche that all travelers would need to have a successful trip. This hotel is in a perfect location. You can just park & walk to so many places. Walmart, chick fil a, it's connected to a longhorn's.... At the front desk they had menus for places nearby, they had plates & forks, etc. Coffee, tea & hot cocoa is always available. The gym had sufficient equipment & free weights for a great workout. The pool were very very nice, with the perfect water temperature. Lastly breakfast. Their breakfast buffet had everything we wanted. The bacon was nice & crispy, omelets were tasty, waffles were good. The staff was friendly & pleasant in engagement. Impressive!

The property is centrally located to a beautiful mall, walmart, wegmans and many eateries.
The free breakfast was very good.
My room was nice and the service was excellent.
I also felt safe.

Hotel was nice and convenient for 1 night, as we needed to be in the area. Breakfast options were great. Unfortunately it was loud at night due to some bar in the area.
