I had an unexpected stay at this hotel after suffering an accident in Rome and spending an entire day at the hospital. I arrived injured, exhausted, and worried, but from the moment I checked in, everyone made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for.
Every single member of the staff was incredibly kind and professional. The reception team was compassionate and always ready to help, the housekeeping staff was thoughtful and attentive, and the restaurant staff was friendly and caring throughout my stay.
Their kindness made a difficult situation much easier to cope with, and I will always remember the warmth and humanity I experienced here.
Thank you to the entire team for making me feel safe, comfortable, and truly looked after. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. Five stars, without a doubt.

The room was a bit small and felt a bit pokey.
The terrace whilst nice didn’t really have a view you can’t really see over the wall.
I had to pay 60 euros extra a night for the terrace room. I left a night early for personal reasons and so I asked if they could forgo the extra money for the terrace because I have left early but they refused and still charged me. The reception men were a bit like strict school masters

Wonderful hotel in great location near Spanish steps. Great restaurants nearby and the buffet breakfast was terrific. The hotel staff is very helpful and responsive. Daily cleaning service. We were able to park our rental car via valet service to external garage. Rooms were quiet and comfortable beds. Public transport/Bus stop right out front and metro nearby. Will definitely stay again!

Great location for walking and access to Metro. Very kind staff from top to bottom. Nice breakfast service each morning, and overall comfortable stay. Quiet inside, even with a busy street below. Room was very clean and daily housekeeping service kept us feeling refreshed. King bed was very comfortable. Of course rooms are on the smallish side for floor space, and there's no seating other than at a helpful but petite desk/chair. Had we paid more for a more premium property/room (not sure if Stendahl has them), we could have had an extra seating area. That would be the main thing to make it worthy of 5 stars.
