Had asked for twin beds and we were assigned a room suitable for handicapped travelers (scarsely furbished bathroom, no surfaces to deposit wahspshbags etc on), double bed that couldm’t be turned into twin. Also while there was a coffee machine in the room we didn’ get capsules, despite having requested them once absence noted, Given we had to skip breakfast due to early flight home that was especially annoying, On the other handm, our request for at least two sheets/covera given twin bed set up not possible was satisfied, Staff overall very friendly and mosty helpful. A/C over the top and couldn’t be switched off.

Enough space and beds for our family of 5.
The shower didn't work well.
Staff and the comfort
Inside the room can be a bit more modern
The room was nice and big for a family of 5. It had enough places for everyone to sleep and everything you needed including a clothing steamer and blowdryer.
The restroom smelled like sewage; we kept the door shut. Also, the upstairs loft area was hot at night. It was a bit difficult to sleep. There is an AC unit up there and the single bed right next to it stays cool but not the big bed. I also got a few mosquito bites. I think maybe they got through the skylight.
Internet is offered for free but didn't work that well, however it was like that all through Venice. The location was nice, quiet , and safe but it was a bit of a walk from the center.
fantastic hotel with kind and helpful staff, absolutely gorgeous room overlooking the canal
Venice is not for the weak- be mindful of few bridges and it is a bit of a distance from the main attractions and train station (if bringing heavy luggage) - but the hotel is so beautiful and much more peaceful that way
Clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast, staff polite and helpful, great garden, location also fine, but a bit further from center than I had expected.
A few details, perhaps no big issues but the room was cold (20,5) when we arrived and it was only on our third day it was close to the 23 degress we asked for. The door did not close properly unless forced (did not change though we informed), the cold water very weak, even disappearing, toilet paper not refilled, toilet in a separate room with no sink! And no electric outlets by the bed. And the bar did not open until 18:00. And was closed all Sunday!
The location. Quiet, comfortable and well appointed
Someone let themselves into my room - did not knock

I absolutely loved this hotel! It’s close to the city center (about a 25–30 minute walk), but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet after a busy day of sightseeing. I cannot recommend the canal-view rooms enough—the views were beautiful and really added to the experience.
The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed.
During our visit, we did the Doge’s Palace tour as well as the Murano and Burano boat tours, both of which I highly recommend. They were easy to access from the city center and made for memorable day trips.
There were also several great restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel, making it easy to enjoy the local area. The hotel breakfast was excellent, typical of many European hotels, but with plenty of variety and delicious options to choose from.
Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay in Venice, and I would happily return.
