Give The Inn at Highland a Chance!
Pros:

Here's what I'm going to tell you about this place. You can tell it had a huge history in its heyday. The location is unbeatable. The price is unbeatable for the location. The coffee is excellent in the morning. That's half the battle if you ask me. We did the whole trip was public transit because of the location of this hotel it was totally worth it. The front desk staff are handling a lot but they are very very nice people.

Cons:

I think if you booked this place you're going to have to realize it's an older place and it's adjacent to a budget in. They are working on it, but it needs quite a bit of attention. So get past the Aesthetics and say to yourself was the place safe and did it work. I think you will say yes.

It was really old, everthing, the breakfast was horrible, mi card stopped working like 3 times.

Good value
Pros:

It was close to everything bus, grocery store. Right off of the freeway. Empower field, restaurant's., Elitch Gardens, the Aquarium. Ect.. It was quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping and desk staff were great.

Cons:

A little bit dated. The ice machine didn't work on the third floor. People had to get ice on the second floor in the guest laundry area. No ice buckets. The rooms in the main building were much nicer than the building in the back.
