Seemed pricey but maybe all of them in this area are.
Es ist ein Hotel am Flughafen, viel kommen und gehen, aber das weiß man vorher. Man muss aber dazu sagen, dass man die Flugzeuge nicht gehört hat. Ein Parkplatz war kostenlos dabei. Das Personal in der Lobby war freundlich und es war sehr sauber.
Location for what we needed is great
Really enjoyed my stay at the Sandman Hotel! The staff were amazing, friendly, and welcoming, and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had a great experience overall and will definitely be staying here again!
One thing worth mentioning is that the exterior is currently undergoing renovations, which the hotel was very upfront and professional about. Everything was handled extremely well, and the renovations did not interfere with our stay whatsoever. I was very impressed with how professionally it was managed.
We chose this hotel for our three nights in Vancouver. The city is easily accessible by bus and skytrain and significantly affordable than hotels in downtown. Beds are comfortable, room is spacious and there is a complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.
Waiting staff in restaurant very rude and aggressive when challenged about not taking our breakfast order so we left

Air conditioner was not working. No other rooms were available so promised a refund and a free taxi ride but no taxi and have not seen a refund yet. The room was very warm!

The facilities were old and run-down, rooms were not very clean.
The front desk staff were especially accommodating in getting us a room that met our uncertain needs for a pet and two extra people due to flight changes. I was especially impressed given the hotel was fully booked and they had been working a long shift. Wonderfully friendly and welcoming!
The air conditioner was very loud.
Considering the price paid….close to $500….this was disappointing. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport which we were using early the next morning plus their provision of a shuttle. In those respects the hotel came through.
On the down side was the tired appearance of the room. It was small enough that we had to open a suitcase on the bed while another used the desktop. The toilet was low enough that I had to struggle to get up. There were no grab bars in the bathtub…..even seasonal hotels in Dawson City have those….and the restaurant did not open until 8 am!! We only incidentally noticed a coffee machine as we were checking out…..it was not pointed out but reception upon our arrival……and there were no eats/snacks available for early departures.

Place did the job.
Room rates were triple normal amount due to the World Cup. We just needed a room by the airport for an overnight connection. A very expensive 8 hrs.

Best bed that I've slept in in ages! Super comfy. Moxies restaurant was a great addition with nice food and great drinks.
I would stay here again if stopping overnight. The area itself doesn't have much to offer but the hotel is great.
I could here the planes coming into land in early hours.
David was very helpful and thorough. Westjet canceled many flights so there was a ton of people in the lobby waiting to be served. David remembered the order in which we came in and helped us in that order even though some people didnt agree. David nailed it!
The room is clean and big and they even gave us an upgraded room! Thanks sandman!
