it was fine, average. ok for one night.
Pros:

pleasant enough room. small bathroom. just average overall

Cons:

size and furnishings of room. Very cheap cutlery at breakfast, flimsy paper napkins. This could certainly be improved.

Outside of health and fitness centre looked terrible - dingy, needing painting, mould on walls and roof . Did not go in. Too uninviting

Lovely visit to kinsale
Pros:

Lovel hotel , great location , lovely room, great breakfast choices- A few points to improve : soup at lunch too cold as was eggs Benedict at breakfast .

very enjoyable. High end hotel compared to airbnb's we'd been staying at.
Pros:

Breakfast is included with price of the room. It is spectacular. Open 'buffet' for fruits, cereals, breads, yogurt, juices. Also a menu to order from for eggs, french toast, Eggs Benedict, etc.

Windows need looking at
Pros:

Lovely hotel and staff very nice. Rooms Lovely but need to look at upgrading windows. Very bad draft and very cold. Alot of condensation on windows in the morning. Room did not hold the heat.

If you’re in Kinsale and you don’t stay here, you’re missing out!
Pros:

The most gorgeous hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely everything was perfect but breakfast was the biggest highlight, truly the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had.

Fabulous hotel in lovely town
Pros:

Fabulous hotel in central Kinsale. We were lucky to have a two bedrooms too
, furnishings were beautiful, it even had a bath. We ate in the hotel one evening and enjoyed super breakfasts each morning. Staff were lovely. Lots of parking and near the bus stop for getting to Cork and the airport. The Leisure Centre is a bonus and we used it most days. We were so sad to leave and would certainly recommend

GREAT LOCATION
Pros:

We stayed here for three nights recently and it was just beautiful. We had a room overlooking the harbour and even though the room was on the smaller side, we were only in there to sleep so it didn't really bother us. It was clean and quiet and they had friendly staff and a great restaurant that was open all day for lunch and dinner and a bar area where you could go after a long day of walking. There is also a pool and a gym.
It was close to all the amazing shops in Kinsale so would recommend Actons Hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to base yourself while in Co. Cork.
