According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorization for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarized copies of their IDs.
All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.
In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarized authorization signed by the absent parent, along with a notarized copy of that parent´s ID.
Please note the hotel does not accept third part credit cards for payment. The credit card holder needs to be the guest.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Ubicación excelente, centro de copacabana
Me encantó la habitación, el trato del personal y el desayuno.
Personale molto disponibile, albergo pulito e colazione buona.
Zona sicura e comoda per muoversi verso le varie attrazioni
El personal muy agradable. La terraza con la piscina (aunque el agua estaba un poco sucia) muy bien. Nos hospedamos en el piso 11 y las vistas eran geniales, al pan de azucar y a la playa.
El ventilador extremadamente ruidoso. La puerta corredera del balcón no cerraba con pestillo.

The roof top view provides a good opportunity to see several of the highlights. The location is optimal - quite close to Copacabana beach (and the Roxy!) while enjoying more of the local flavour - and local prices.
The lack of speed of the lifts - I timed it as 2 minutes to floor 13 when we had no stops!
