How close it was to city centre
There was no bananas at breakfast ( it’s my favourite fruit but that’s just me being picky)
I like the familiarity as frequent flyer. The comfort the friendliness of staff and the fact it is very quiet. Love the fact you can top up with fresh drinking water at any time

Thee service we received was incredible, small touches did still make our stay very special.
Our room was quite rough around the edges, couldn’t open the windows and appears to be quite risk as the huge mechanisms to open the windows are both partially detached, so really could cause an injury to someone.
Upon stripping the wedding there were some evident stanes on the mattress and mattress protector an also the pillows which was fairly discomforting to notice upon doing this.
There was also a terrible smell when using the air conditioning/heating unit which wasn’t great as with it being a big room we needed the heating on.
I do not have photos my sole purpose for the weekend was to embrace my partner and I’s engagement, not to collate evidence as to why a hotel room wasn’t at an adequate standard.
At around 8:30am we were very abruptly woken to scraping on walls of the room next door to us which ten gradually got worse and turned into drilling, by the time my partner and I got ready and left to go for a walk, the hallways outside our room was a building site, climbing over tools and out the way of work men, then came back to the hotel and the drilling just proceeded.
This did disappoint our stay hugely, we were given very kindly a complimentary late check out which we were entirely unable to relax as a newly engaged couple and enjoy that.

Stayed here plenty of times and consistently excellent service and quality of rooms each time. Staff were excellent and accommodating which helps after travelling a long distance.
Breakfast is not something I would usually take at this hotel due to lots of excellent options nearby however tried again due to an offer being on, still good value for money however the breakfast could be improved as the cooked breakfast felt rushed in how it was cooked with some items over done and others underdone, based on this I would probably skip the breakfast next time around.
We satiated at the Apex hotel Glasgow as I was having knee surgery at the Elanic hospital next door,
The minute we walking into the hotel staff were very helpfull as our room was not ready because we were early , we were allowed to sit in the lounge area , the chap at the desk took our bags upstairs for us as we were both disabled .
I would say this is the place to stay if you are having surgery at the Elanic Hospital
I cannot praise the staff enough from housekeeping, to the waiting staff , to the people on the desk ,
They went above and beyond, and could not do enough for you ,I cannot praise them enough, everyone was smiling , alway willing to attend to you .
