Loved everything about this hotel: comfort, service, atmosphere, perfection. I will be coming back for a third time!!
We had a wonderful stay at Praia D’el Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort this week. Even with the rainy weather, our vacation turned out to be truly relaxing and memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an elegant “old-money” style interior, stunning ocean views, and peaceful natural surroundings that create a feeling of calm and privacy.
The rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds — we slept perfectly every night. The restaurants offer great food and a lovely atmosphere, and the spa area is fantastic: a warm indoor pool, a great sauna, and a jacuzzi that made our stay even more enjoyable.
But the most important thing is the people. Everywhere in the hotel we met incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional staff who made us feel genuinely cared for. Their warmth and hospitality made this stay special.
Even in bad weather, this is a perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy nature, comfort, and tranquility. We would love to come back.
We arrived the evening of the storm that hit this part of Portugal with hurricane force winds. Area around the hotel was heavily impacted with downed trees, power lines, etc. The hotel has a generator and thus we had power and the staff did an exceptional job making sure everyone was ok. In fact, we asked several of the staff the following morning how they were able to make it in and more than one responded that it took a lot of back tracking and up to two hours. So a special thanks to the entire Marriott team - everyone went way out of their way to ensure our stay there was a positive one...even with a raging storm outside. We will definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful gem along the Atlantic Ocean!
As an owner of property in Praia Del Rey we use the gym within hotel when we are in Portugal. It is well equipped, clean and more importantly the staff there are knowledgeable, professional yet friendly. Thank you 🙏
Incredible hotel, view and experience. We loved it so much we came back twice. The breakfast, pool and amenities were great. It was quiet in December but the views were outstanding. Thanks for treating us so well.
This property is peerless. We didn’t golf but the pool and spa were just flat amazing. I have never seen such a variety of cutting edge technology in a pool area. Indoor pool is warm with two hot tubs with a huge variety of jet options. There is a bucket deluge, special showers with light shows and jets, steam, sauna and beautiful finishes and furnishings. The staff is attentive and accommodating from the valet to the wait and housekeeping staff. The management is in contact to make sure you are happy and the grounds are stunning. The beach access on property was closed due to erosion but a short drive had parking and a secluded, cliffside beach that was amazing. We drive into Nazare and the nearby town for incredible meals but I’m sure the onsite restaurants are also great. The breakfast buffet was first class with everything you would want plus sparkling wine! I have been to top properties around the world but this place is special. We will be back!
This is one of the BEST hotels I have EVER been to and I have traveled in many countries. The view is breathtaking, the hotel is glamorous with a beautiful pool, beautiful indoor pool and spa area. The hotel is close to ac harming medieval town called Obidos which has excellent restaurants. It is not far from FATIMA which is the most extraordinary spiritual journey of my life. You MUST go to this hotel. And the morning breakfast is TEN STAR!

Beautifully located right on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. There is a very lively bar and really pretty pool area.
Outstanding, welcoming, friendly..... As a solo female golfer, I enjoyed a wonderful week at the Hotel & Resort in mid September 2025. From start to finish, the airport transfer drivers, hotel staff, shuttle drivers and golf club staff, combined to make my holiday a truly exceptional experience. And my room....... so comfortable, secure and quiet. Oh, and what a view! Special thanks to Jessica at the Restaurant who made me feel so special. I shall be returning next year. Thank you.

Please was great. manager was really nice , Micael. welcomed us and explained the property features. Bsrtender Tiago was great and made some amazing cocktails. Food was on point and the property is real clean with a lot of character. Great place to go for a few days. Lots of Portuguese flair.

Just returned from 8 days at the hotel with my wife and two older teenagers.
The hotel was excellent all round.
The location was picture postcard stuff, the rooms spacious, comfortable and quiet.
It was a great location to explore the area with Obidos being our highlight for evening dinner options. That said, on the occasions we did eat in the hotel, the food was of a high standard and the service faultless. The staff were a real highlight for us, always attentive and helpful - a credit to the Marriott brand.
For those that enjoy golf, the connected course others in the resort are superbly maintained and offer a range of standards to challenge every golfer.
We will undoubtedly return to this hotel.

We had a great week at the Marriott on the Silver Coast. The staff are fantastic. Arrival, bell service and check-in were smooth and professional. The oceanfront room was spacious and comfortable and the view was amazing. Restaurant and bar service was super. Thank you Nuno! The daily breakfast buffet was great! The lunch and dinner we had on-site were excellent.
