Disappointing

The breakfast was very nice. Down the road from the hotel was a beautiful Wegmans.

Cons:

I moved from a nicer hotel in Victor to be closer to the city, so I chose to come to the Country Inn & Suites. The hotel had a good review rating, so I was expecting a much nicer hotel. The location was on a busy road, and the outside of the hotel was not attractive at all. The room was much smaller than what I had left behind at the previous hotel. The bed was hard. The nice thing was there was a variety of pillows to choose from. The wall in the bathroom was dirty and the bathroom was tiny. The first night, the air conditioner made noise all night long. The next morning, I spoke with someone at the front desk, and asked if there was another room where the air conditioner didn't make noise. She said she would have someone come to look at the air conditioner. I had turned it off, and when I came back later that evening, it was obvious no one had come, as it was not on. I slept with it off. That night, the refrigerator hummed and made too much noise.

Pros:

Decent place. Very congested Location but OK.

Cons:

Gym Room-Poor, Breakfast food Fair but appreciated some of the Freebies. Rug in the halls-stained-and in my unit it was wrinkled in places-not installed properly. $100.00 deposit for "incidentals" really not needed.

We appreciated the welcome when we arrived late at night after flying in from NYC. Thanks.
Pros:

We were warmly welcomed, and found the hotel was very conveniently located near our family members. We chose to stay in the Lodge which was very quiet. The breakfast including the turkey sausage was very much appreciated since we avoid pork products, and having drinks and snacks available even after breakfast was very nice. Thanks.

Cons:

The carpeting going upstairs at The Lodge can use an upgrade.
