Pros:

Πολύ όμορφο δωμάτιο κ ευρύχωρο. Ωραίο κρεβάτι και design.

Cons:

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν υπό κατασκευή. Είχε παντού σοβαρές, σκαλωσιές και μάστορες, πράγμα που θα έπρεπε να είναι γνωστό στους πελάτες από πριν, ή έστω να μειώνεται το κόστος. Το πρωινό πολύ φτωχό. Στο δωμάτιο είχε κρύο κ δε ζεσταίνοταν με το σύστημα.

Pros:

This hotel is a TOTAL disgrace and should NOT be open during dangerous building work. The owner clearly has total disregard for the safety of clients and is intent on making profit and total apathy to listening to complaints. His Manager, by contrast was sympathetic and understood our concerns but was powerless to offer any compensation.
We received NO notification, prior to our checking in, that building work was being carried out.
The public areas were not safe, as the pictures can demonstrate. There was no bar (as advertised) and the breakfast room (waffle griddle was unhygienic and needed a good clean, amongst other things) – have had 2 star hotel areas better than this.
Whist the room we had was spacious and clean, there was much that even the rebuilding work has overlooked. Windows have no safety lock, so beware if you have children. There was no stand alone shower, it was in the bath with no grab handles making getting out very difficult. The cable from the tap to the shower was not long enough so it was in the way all the time. No plug if you wanted a bath. Lighting very poor in the bathroom as we supposed the mirror would have been illuminated. The waste bin in the bathroom made an annoying clanging sound on opening and closing. If you enjoy smelling like an orange all day then the L’Ocitane shower gel is just for you.
Similarly if you like being woken by drilling at 07:30 in the morning onwards, then do not hesitate to stay here.
There was a standard lamp by the chair but you have to have the main lights on at the same time thereby negating any subtle reading light. Similarly the lamps hanging by the bed.
Avoid #01 or #10 as the lift (only one of two working when we were there) is right next to your door in an alcove.
They have lost any future business with us.

De jongens aan de receptie waren supervriendelijk en behulpzaam ondanks alle klachten die zij voortdurend kregen. Zij hebben uiteindelijk ook vervangend ontbijt geregeld op 1 dag (eerste dag lukte niet omdat we te vroeg weg moesten vanwege bijeenkomsten en de andere locatie pas om 8 uur open ging) en ook hielpen zij met het krijgen van een refund

Tijdens mij verblijft werd er verbouwd. Dit hoorde ik pas op de dag van aankomst; de implicaties ervan werden ook niet goed vermeld. In de aankondiging stond alleen dat we een andere ingang moesten gebruiken, niet dat er geen ontbijt mogelijk was, de liften het niet deden, de vervangende trappen vies, donker en krap waren (vooral met koffer). Lovely hotel very conveniently located for Brussels central station
Pros:

The room was spacious and well furnished. Particular note for the lighting. Also corridors very quiet and stylish.

Walking distance from Brussels Midi train station.

Reception staff extremely kind and welcoming.

Cons:

There were building works on the ground floor I wasn’t aware of, so the first impression was not positive as the reception was in a temporary tiny room with all the furniture scattered. In the end it was totally fine, but being travelling alone and arriving late at night it would have been better to be aware of the building works before my arrival as I felt I may have made the wrong hotel choice on arrival, which wasn’t at all the case as soon as I arrived to the upper floors.

Pros:

Insonorizzazione esterna, posizione, personale disponibile, camera ampia, scrivania grande e comoda. Bene arredata. Letto molto grande e confortevole. Bagno grande con finestra. Disponibilità di canali TV in diverse lingue. Hall dell'albergo in fase di ristrutturazione, io ero al terzo piano ma non ho mai sentito rumori "molesti". Reception 24/24.

Cons:

Ho lasciato le valigie dopo il check out per qualche ora in una stanza chiusa a chiave, ma non sono state applicate targhette per il riconoscimento ( trovo questo modus operando poco sicuro ). Nella stanza ( anche durante le notti di inizio marzo ) se non accendevo il climatizzatore o se non aprivo le finestre c'era molto caldo.
Lo sciacquone del water aveva una perdita e ogni tot minuti era come se qualcuno lo stesse usando. Di notte non era cosa rilassante da sentire all'improvviso. ( non ho informato lo staf, ma sono certo che qualcuno prima o poi lo farà ).

Avoid till renovations actually finished
Pros:

Recently renovated = not finished yet. We turned up and reception is via side door. Can’t use lifts as reception is building site so via dusty fire escape. Room. Is lovely but I) air con doesn’t work - they did get us a fan, ii) no toilet roll holder - not a massive issue but add it to the list iii) if you need anything phone reception on XX - but no phone in room. Talks about bar / cocktails as well but they must be out of bounds as well. It looks like it will be e lovely when finished and snagging sorted

Disappointed stay
Pros:

Room, bathroom spacious and clean, recently refurbished.

Cons:

Had to use grubby narrow, metal, fire escape stairs, challenging for bad knees, no lift.
No lounge or bar.
Temporary reception and breakfast room.
No breakfast in hotel on 2nd day, had to walk to a cafe with very limited choice.
Not informed beforehand and particularly chose for lounge bar for evening drinks after touring city, etc. Very disappointed.
Fridge in room not work well.
Extractor fan in bathroom not working.
