Elevator problems

First thing when we arrived and were checking in, there was a sweet young lady at the front desk. Her foreign accent is so thick that I could only understand maybe ⅓ of what she said. Before we began unpacking, I looked for cooking utensils and pots and pans, etc., things I would need. I opened the under-sink cabinet, and there were 5 empty beer cans. The second night, we wanted cookies. I placed the cookie dough on the "non-stick baking sheet" and placed them in the oven. A few minutes later, we smelled something burning, and it was the PLASTIC "baking sheet" melting and dripping onto the heating element. Around the 3rd night, I think, I began to see 1 or 2 roaches every time the stove was turned on. Then, on our last evening, we entered the room, and there was a puddle of water just inside the door. Because it had rained some earlier, I assumed maybe the door hadn't latched properly, so we just wiped it dry with towels. But, in the morning, a new puddle had formed. This puddle, which turned out to be coming from the a/c unit, soaked one full-size pillow that had fallen during the night and every towel we had in the room, which there was at least 10 of them.

Found an empty alcohol can on our balcony and trash in the bathroom trash can. Also the dryer did not work. Had to drive home with all our clothes wet and rewash once home.

The left side burners of the stove did not work. The hot tub heated up but the jets did not work and this has been a problem for the past 2 years... The unit definitely needs a little more attention to basic maintenance.. the TV in the bedroom did not have cable it was just antenna which gave me a variety of PBS stations

It’s was dirty it had roaches in the room and the floors were filthy no dishes for cooking. They never cleaned the room or changed the bed linens. The parking for handicapped was not good at all.

Could use some updating. Elevators could use some maintenance also

They lock up pool area at dark and hot tub was so hot it burnt my husband foot

Everything should be torn down ceiling falling down looked like it was falling apart the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The mattresses sunk in so bad you had to park in a crack alley because they sold off their parking. Had to haul all our stuff down by hand no carts. Worse stay I’ve ever had. And no mention this wasn’t the original beachcomber if stayed at before. Not convenient to anything. Hated it the no convenient way to beach. Just horrible

Nasty dirty rooms. Saw a couple refuse to stay after seeing place.
Short hours for bar and pool. It was 90 plus degrees for christs sake!
Not 2 umbrellas for 20 plus outside chairs/tables. Charge cards only. NO cash on property
