We had an amazing experience at the JW Marriott during our vacation this March. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, making our stay truly memorable.
I was especially touched by the thoughtful surprise in my room—the special cake, fruits, and balloons were such a lovely gesture and made me feel truly celebrated.
We want to give a special shout-out to Yvette and Henry in the lounge. They looked after us so well and went above and beyond to ensure I had at least one hot vegetarian dish and delicious Chinese tea waiting for me every night. As a vegetarian, I truly appreciated this level of care and personalised service!
The only suggestion - please add some vegetarian options to your menu (no egg, fish)

I stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Tomorrow Square and had an excellent experience. The room on the 52nd floor offered a stunning skyscraper city view — especially impressive at night — and was spacious, immaculately clean, and very quiet for restful sleep. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough.
Staff service was the highlight — friendly, professional, and attentive from check-in through departure, with helpful recommendations for nearby sightseeing and transport. Special thanks to Yvette and Henry from the Executive Lounge for their warm hospitality and excellent service. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh juices, and made-to-order items.
The hotel’s location at Tomorrow Square is convenient for visiting major sights and public transport while still feeling calm and private. Overall great value for the level of comfort and service — I would highly recommend the JW Marriott Shanghai at Tomorrow Square for both business and leisure travelers.
To begin the staff is very professional and friendly. Location near metro and easy walk to Bund. Facilities are excellent
