Great location, walking distance to everything needed. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly.
There was only one elevator working so the wait to get to our 5th floor room was a bit longer than I'd like. Also we were charged for 2 nights of valet and we were not there even 24 hours.
Derek at the front desk was super helpful and amazing! He's a great addition to the Marriott!
Today I had an experience that I hope leadership will recognize.
I am a disabled retired U.S. Army Major after more than 20 years and currently live with PTSD and anxiety. Today was a significant step in my healing journey — I booked rooms at the Houston Marriott Sugar Land for my parents and myself so I could begin getting comfortable being out in the world again.
When I arrived, I was overwhelmed and quietly experiencing a panic attack. I did not communicate this to staff, but Mr. Prince from your valet team demonstrated exceptional patience, compassion, and professionalism.
I chose to carry my belongings to my room myself, which required multiple trips to my vehicle. Each time I returned, Mr. Prince greeted me with kindness and reassurance. He allowed me the space and time I needed without making me feel rushed or uncomfortable.
What stood out most was his consistency. As I watched him interact with other guests arriving at the hotel, he treated everyone with the same warm energy and professionalism.
Mr. Prince likely has no idea that this was the first hotel outing I have attempted alone in six years since retiring from the Army. But his kindness helped make this experience feel safe.
Please recognize him for the way he represents your brand. Small moments of kindness can have a profound impact. As a small business owner, he was definitely what I was looking for to put on my team.

Upon arrival at the Marriott in Sugar Land, Derek and Jaden were on point with their hospitality and friendliness in greeting us at the front desk for check in. They made the process easy and fun. Their personalities and passion for their role were a refreshing welcome after our long drive through Houston traffic. Thanks again guys! Keep up the great vibes.
The facility of the hotel it was great. The area, it's great. The stay is great.
For the price for what we pay to stay. We didn't get excellent customer service.. customer service. Was working at their own pace.They wouldn't like very open to the customers that walked in the hotel. Breakfast should have been a little bit more complimentary. We paid for 2 days of breakfast breakfast was served at 7 am.. i do not get breakfast on the next day.Because of my flight was earlier than the breakfast was supposed to be served. And the one day I did get breakfast.There was out of waffles. The hotel had kids running around on every floor pressing every button on the elevator being very loud.

Prince provided very good valet service during my stay. He was polite, helpful with directions, and assisted us with our luggage. His restaurant recommendations were appreciated and accurate. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet overall. A solid experience with standout service!
