Junior on honours promo desk was great
The elevators and long waits were terrible. We had to use the stairs and we were on the 13th floor, We were so sore coming home from our trip. Parking is Extra $50
Elevators had been and were broken. Long waits every time we tried to go or from our room.
They have 26 floors with god knows how many total rooms, and they have 6 elevators and when I started my stay only 2 of them were working (and apparently only 2 have been working for several days / over a week now) causing massive delays getting to / from your room. Now on the last night of my stay, there’s only 1 elevator working and nobody at the hotel can tell us when they will be fixed. Unacceptable for a company and brand like Hilton to not have a severe customer impacting issue like this not resolved immediately.
Elevator situation is a MESS. No matter what time it is, YOU WILL WAIT AT LEAST 10 minutes. Ten minutes!!!

I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend stay at the Hilton Austin. The location is amazing, right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of 6th Street and key attractions.
Ms. Gigi made check-in warm and memorable, thoughtfully acknowledging the purpose of my stay. A special "thank you" to the two wonderful women, Saturday evening/overnight, for their professionalism and hospitality; you truly carried the baton for a seamless stay. My room (2003) offered a beautiful city view, was spacious, well-lit, and incredibly comfortable. I LOVE THE TUB!
I’d also like to recognize the lovely woman at priority check-out who assisted me with my receipt in the morning, such a smooth and kind send-off to end the stay on a high note. Dining at Austin Taco Project was another highlight, thanks to Sarah Saturday night (I pray that was her name!) and those incredible brisket mini tacos.
Thank you to the entire team—I look forward to returning very soon.
Stayed at the Hilton Austin for 9 days. Out of 6 elevators, only 2 worked — and “worked” is generous. Waiting 20–30+ minutes to reach the lobby was normal. Every. Single. Day.
The elevators were broken my entire stay. No technicians. No updates. No apologies. Hotel staff calmly watching guests slowly lose their will to live in the hallway. Standing in wait wondering if stairs were the real amenity.
This isn’t a temporary issue — it’s neglect. Charging full price while half your building doesn’t function is wild.
Austin is great.
This Hilton is not.
Only 2 of 6 elevators are working. 10 minute waits and packed elevators stopping at every floor, but guests unable to squeeze in. Just unacceptable for a nice hotel. This same problem has been occurring for quite some time. The hotel has posted signs about “high usage” but the problem is not usage - it’s the fact that only 2 of 6 elevators are working, in a huge hotel with more than 20
floors!!!! It is hard to understand why this problem has not been fixed already. I would be interested to hear the real reason.
The stay was nice. Great fitness center! 4 out of the 6 elevators and 2 of the 3 escalators weren't working. The hotel offered complimentary snacks as a way to make up for it. Would stay again.
Nice hotel but these elevators take between 7-15mins to arrive. Completely unacceptable.

Miserable Hotel had only 2 of the 6 elevators working for days despite 2 large groups staying at the hotel. Long waits, jam packed elevators stopping at every floor Hotel was unable to heat conference rooms or lobby as well during cold spell in Austin I’ll never stay there again
