perfect for the reason - to see the school
Pros:

the location was perfect (right next to the school). The rooms were VERY comfortable. The welcome was great.

Cons:

The only downside was the food. The potatoes tasted as though they were frozen and pre-packaged. The eggs were fine. But the bacon tasted as though it was cooked in the microwave

Aside from the internal WTF moment regarding the dog fee, our short stay was great!
Pros:

Updated decor, friendly staff, and good coffee.

Cons:

The $75 dog fee. I understand paying an extra $20-$25 for the extra cleaning, but $75 felt excessive and cost prohibitive.

Met our needs and was clean and safe.
Pros:

Delicious dinner. Clean room

Cons:

All the extra charges … parking, WiFi, breakfast.. just include the little fees in the cost. Otherwise it feels like surprise charges.

We were across from the pool and the hall smells like chlorine.

Walls are VERY thin. Could easily hear people talking in adjacent room and hall.

Not the Hilton I remember.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Cons:

Extremely limited gluten-free options.

No glasses in our room, only two plastic coffee cups, next to the coffee maker, no coasters. We like ice in our beverages, which we couldn't put into our bottles.
Bathtub was ok, but if you wanted shampoo or soap you needed to stand up & turn around because they were high on the wall behind you.

Pros:

The area is safe and in a great location to events, activities and restaurants.

Cons:

My room was in a bad area of the building, loud, doors slamming, people outside the room talking loudly at 7:00am.
I usually get a room that’s further down the hall where I didn’t get all that noise.

College tour with my son. Hilton was the perfect location, and we'll go back.
Pros:

Location on OSU campus was amazing. My high school senior son and I were there for a campus tours. We were only there for less than 24 hrs, so did not use the pool, gym, restaurant, etc

Cons:

A little pricey, but I paid for the location and convenience.
