Overpriced run down Residence-Marriott chain hotel
Pros:

Standard breakfast nothing out of the ordinary

Cons:

Overpriced for this locally used workman type hotel. Horrible little courtyard for outdoor seating area. No other outdoor seating.
The front desk did not mention that we would not receive housekeeping over the two nights we spent at this location in Salinas.
Although the beds were comfortable, our room faced the inner courtyard which was very noisy due to the hotel fans directly below us.(3rd floor)
Our dishwater was leaking when we used it the first night.
No house keeping, clean towels and garbage removal was done during our stay of 2 nights
Our Unit was a suite ( 1 King and 1 Queen bedroom) with a stove and fridge and microwave.
Very poor quality pots and pans with only a very few utensils of extreme poor quality.

Certainly not our expectation for a Residence Marriott chain Hotel
We paid over $300 USD per night
We would never stay here again

Not what I expected from the reviews.
Pros:

The pool was nice. It’s in a good location. Parking comped for long wait time at check in.

Cons:

The door to the room/building didn’t have a working keycard reader. People were propping the door open, anyone can just go in and out of the premises. There was no one available for check in for at least 20 minutes even after calling to make sure a late (10:30pm) check in could be accommodated. Paid parking was not advertised properly. The room was not cleaned fully before check in. There were dirty rags in the bathtub, the furniture was all moved and wasn’t vacuumed. The king suite does not have a king bed, the room had a full bed. The toilet paper was not refilled when the room was cleaned.

Clean, comfortable and roomy
Pros:

Súper clean facilities and comfortable bed. Loved having the refrigerator and kitchen sink. Breakfast was okay. Coffee wasn’t strong enough but having real oatmeal, and fresh fruit was great. Also love the Noon checkout.
