Trading on the Ritz name but service provision is definitely Carlton

Cons:

Poor service both from restaurant and housekeeping. Breakfast 110 euros- expensive yet poor quality. Meal requests ignored - service times inordinately slow. So many problems - no serious proactive management response to correct or help. Management primary offer at restitution - to pay for 40 euro taxi fare. Forget the legendary Ritz $ 2000 guest empowerment system - it’s a joke. I’ve had happy stays at Marriott hotels in Budapest and London so not a habitual complainer

The location is a clear advantage — you are within walking distance of Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag Building, and the Tiergarten, making it an ideal base for both first-time visitors and repeat travellers who want efficiency without compromise.

That said, the true differentiator is the Club Lounge. Access to the Club is not a marginal upgrade; it fundamentally elevates the entire stay. The level of service, the attention to detail, and the ability to rely on a dedicated team throughout the day create a materially superior experience compared to a standard luxury stay.

A general thank you goes to the entire Club Lounge team — consistently present, precise, and genuinely focused on delivering at the highest level.

Good hotel, breakfast management is awful. It is better to have breakfast nearby out
Pros:

There was a prepaid breakfast. In fact I was waiting for the waiter for 25min at the table - staff was going back and forth. Thus, I run out of time and was forced to leave without breakfast
