Red Fox Inn and Suites

When I got into town, I realized that this property has closed permanently. Expedia gave me a terrible time about getting reimbursement.

Was an average updated hotel but no one was ever at the front counter. Had to ring a bell to get help. No cleaning service at all for 3 night/day stay and side door by the room was under construction and wide open to the outside, no security. No elevator either but only a 2 story building.

I asked Expedia to recommend a good motel around in Waverly Nova Scotia, and since we were in the car, we made it in Iowa. We never it was impossible for us to travel, but our the check in there for when we call hers that he agreed to cancel it.

This hotel was really great, i hope people give it a try. A corporate hotel remodeled and now a family owned hotel. If you are looking in this area give this hotel a try. You will not regret it. Also the restaurant is great also.

What a nice job with the rehabilitation of a property which was long neglected. The European design influence is fresh and welcoming. The paintings and furnishings nicely appointed.

Everyone that worked there was nice. The rooms looked very good. I know what the old place looked like and I like all the new improvements that were made.

Place is very clean, modern, and cheaper than the place we stayed in last week in the same town.

Everything was fine except the bathroom doors, this sounds trivial however they are barn style doors that run on a track. We had three rooms, two of which the bathroom doors fell off the track, one hitting my 4 year old grandson, not good. Can't believe these would have passed inspection.

Front desk staff was personable and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel was quiet.

Red Fox was nice and convenient, close to Wartburg College and golf course. Pool has been redone with a game room for the kids. We will be back again!

As nice as any of the big name brand motels for a lot less money

The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of tv options. Nice staff at the front desk. The breakfast at the attached restaurant offered quite a few options.

The facilities are wonderful. Lovely pool. Awesome updated rooms. Very clean throughout. What was not impressive was the noise late at night. I understand it was a Saturday night but not everyone stays up late to party. There was a very loud woman in and out of her room across the hall at various points of the night. I didn’t notice the hotel’s quiet hours policy until the next morning (which said quiet after 10:30 pm.). If I would have noticed them before, I would have said something during the night. The quiet hours were NOT enforced!
