Wonderful place to stay if you want luxury and a supreme gym & spa facilities to indulge in - 10/10
Pros:

The spa is outstanding, the gym is very good and very well equipped, the staff were excellent - thank you so much!

Cons:

Not your fault but we struggled to find places to eat in the evening, outside the hotel. Your restaurant was lovely but very empty

Une expérience franchement décevante
Honnêtement, difficile de comprendre comment cet hôtel peut afficher un tel niveau de standing au vu de l’expérience sur place.
Dès l’arrivée, plusieurs détails donnent le ton : poussière, traces sur le miroir, moquette non aspirée… On attend quand même un minimum de propreté et d’entretien dans un hôtel de ce type.
Et que dire des 3 ascenseurs pour un bâtiment de 20 étages ? Résultat : attente interminable aux heures de pointe. Même chose pour les poubelles : elles ne sont visiblement pas vidées systématiquement, ce qui n’est franchement pas acceptable.
Le plus agaçant reste peut-être la politique du « tout est payant ». Chaque petit service devient une dépense supplémentaire. Même une petite bouteille d’eau qui est offerte dans d’autres hôtels devient ici un supplément. Pour le bar, il faut même prévoir une caution à payer à l’avance. À ce niveau-là, on finit par avoir l’impression que chaque pas dans l’hôtel est facturé.
Concernant l’emplacement, attention aux photos et à la perception de la localisation : pas vraiment de vue mer, mais plutôt une vue sur le port. L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier en périphérie d’Izmir, avec peu d’attractions accessibles à pied. Si vous voulez visiter et vous déplacer facilement, une voiture devient quasiment indispensable. Un vélo ne suffira clairement pas.
La navette aurait pu être une bonne solution, puisqu’un bus passe juste en face, mais l’hôtel est incapable de nous renseigner correctement et ne permet même pas d’acheter les billets sur place. Il faut donc se débrouiller soi-même.
Ajoutez à cela des taxis à vos frais, aucun véritable service de navette, une circulation particulièrement dense le soir et un quartier beaucoup plus animé le week-end : l’emplacement est loin d’être aussi pratique qu’on pourrait le penser.

Sehr schönes Hotel auf hohem Niveau.
Pros:

Reichhaltiges leckeres Frühstück. Lage optimal für Kurzaufenthalt in Izmir. Einkaufszentrum unmittelbar in der Nähe.
SPA ist sehr gefragt. Komme zu diesem Hotel gerne wieder. Sehr freundliches Personal.

ik kom hier al langer dan 15 jaar. het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geweldige locatie met mooie uitzicht op zowel de zee als de bergen.
