We had 2 wonderful weeks at Ayres Manhattan.
Pros:

We stayed almost 2 weeks in this hotel and enjoyed our stay 100%. I highly recommend this hotel for families or singles. We enjoyed the big room with refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave oven. Room cleaning was excellent. They have washing and drying machines on every level which comes in handy for longer stays. Pool and hot tub were also nice.

Pros:

I liked everything about the hotel. The only thing that was an issue for me is the fact that I was never told that I had to pay $22 dollars a day to park my car on their lot....I could see if I was not staying at the hotel, then I could see someone paying to park their car on the lot. But when you have to pay over $400 for 2 nights, I think it is a rip off.........this should have been told to me when he asked what kind of car I had......not a fan of telling anyone to stay there....

Cons:

I told what I didn't like in the first half..

The hotel is elegant. The decor is beautiful and the staff were all exceptional.

Cons:

You can hear the people in the room above you too much. Hot tub was a bit dirty, ended up with a rash after using it.

Perfect
Pros:

Stayed here for a short getaway trip to go surfing at Manhattan Beach and concert at Sofi stadium, and we couldn’t be happier! This is hands down the BEST hotel we’ve stayed at through our travels in the past few YEARS, and we’re impressed with both the value it delivers and the care and pride they put into it

To start with, the hotel smells great! Everything is clean and carefully tended to, and walking down the hallway feels very much like visiting an art museum, with classy, authentic art pieces the walls. The lobby and common spaces are filled with gorgeous European pieces, the sweeping staircase and chandelier adding to the romantic feel as you enter.

We love our room. It’s spacious and comfortable. With three nightstands for a double Queen room, there’s ample lighting in the room. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. The fridge is a good size and works well. The coffee machine is easy to use, and there are ample towels in the bathroom. The room temperature is so comfortable and the AC is quiet. The TV works well too. In fact, the only complaint I have is the lighting in the bathroom: it’s LED, too white and glary, and takes awhile to brighten.

We didn’t use the swimming pool but it looks nice and surrounded by greeneries, albeit small. The gym is well appointee with two rooms, one for weights and one for treadmills. And there’s a water dispenser in the gym.

The location is perfect, close to both Manhattan beach and Sofi stadium, with Costco and World Market and lots of good places nearby.

We’re very happy with this place and made a mental note to try Ayres Hotel in other locations from now on.
